Terrible experience renting from Savills. They are withholding a portion of our deposit despite the inventory checkout report stating the property was returned in the same condition as it was when we moved in. I’ve heard horror stories about them before but didn’t expect the treatment to be this unfair and common procedure.
We take great pride is providing an excellent service so to hear we have fallen short of your expectations is disappointing to say the least. Savills have a heritage brand that represents a company once with dignity. The staff are awfully inexperienced, ignorant of dealing with people and they have high churn by front facing inexperienced staff (on low salaries no doubt). Heartless and soulless business. Never ever deal with them for lettings.

Awful company who destroy any property site they manage through over inflated service charges and bad management. If these people manage a building you live in, move out.

There are many claims made by estate agents - they're famous for that but negotiating skills are another level. Charlie Knapp showed such skills and I would recommend him and his company without hesitation.

Didn't keep offers private. Tried to go back and forth between potential buyers to increase bids. Told other buyers I had offered asking price in a bid to increase sales price. I didn't think practices like this still existed. Disappointed to learn that they believe gazumping is fair.
