Dear Stuart, Thank you for your correspondence. We understand your feedback relates to your experience as a tenant, and we welcome the opportunity to respond and clarify the points raised. Our records confirm that notice to vacate was issued, following the landlord’s instruction to regain possession of the property you were renting in order to proceed with a sale. Vacant possession was not provided in line with the notice, which restricted the landlord’s ability to sell the property, the property was sale agreed quickly after. Throughout the notice period, we sought to manage the process professionally and to ensure that all communications and actions remained compliant with our obligations. If your concerns relate to the condition of the property and the deposit deductions, these were assessed following the check-out inspection and supported by appropriate evidence, with due consideration given to fair wear and tear. Any deductions applied were documented and handled in line with standard tenancy procedures. Our role is to act fairly and transparently for both landlords and tenants, and we remain satisfied that the actions taken were appropriate and consistent with legal and contractual guidelines. Separately, please confirm whether you intend to collect a parcel that is in our office, having been incorrectly delivered to your previous rental property.
