GoogleFrom initial viewing of our new home to completion and moving in, Jon and the team at Ashleigh Stone could not have been more friendly, helpful and professional - they did everything they could to make our purchase as stress-free as possible!

GoogleDanielle, Sue, Jade and Dave have been great while we were renting. Danielle contacted me with the idea of a short term flat rental and it worked out perfectly! And filled the gap while we were in the market for buying a property. The guys i dealt with listed were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and easy to chat to. 100% recommend these guys. They did also try and help us find our forever home but sadly that didn't happen with these guys but they were great every step of the way and were pleased when we did find that home even though it wasn't through them.

GoogleAfter all the danger and suffering they put me through(non stop repairing, gas leak, oven electrical wires exposed, mice infection, pipe leak, cracked wall, broken door handle locked me inside the bathroom) , I can’t recall a single month without a handyman visiting my home. And just when I thought I can finally settle down they 21 SECTIONED me after only 1 year, in the call they said the landlord is going to sell the house then I saw it was re-listed with a much higher price on market. A total joke, and omg the AUDACITY they asked for £360 deduction from my deposit for cleaning fee?? When I moved in it was as dusty as London underground and with yellow stains in bathtub, walls, dust and back dirt everywhere, freezer not defrost, window now cleaned. And they asked ME for money that could hire a professional cleaner. I’m glad I have videos and pictures for all of that and we are going on DPS dispute but just the level of shameless shocked me, I always assume the best of people but this is just disgusts me to my bones. And to this landlord, £360 to sell your soul , really? When you re-listed the property for monthly 100£ more?
When I put offer on this property their agent Ben made me wait for one whole week to hear back from this landlord, then it was the longest background check, they asked me
EVERYTHING, from my past addresses and my current AND PREVIOUS landlords' info, my employee status, to my passport, and not only the passport ID, it was every single numbers and letters on the passport page(you know the two complicated lines at the bottom with "<<<"), my driving license, my EMPLOYEE ID, my brp card, and they all have to enter manually. After all this excruciating pain they required me pay the first rent fee before view and sign the official contract, I checked online it was not legal and asked them about it, and Ben said” well you can look other places then we have other people interested in this property” oh the humiliation, I was so desperate and spent so much time on this I have no choice but to be humiliated. And then after moving in , in one of the inspections I kindly asked their agent caina to remove shoes before entering and she didn’t , high heel shoes on my just cleaned floor.
Is that because I’m a young foreign worker so they thought they could squeeze the last dignity of me?
In the end there are 2 good things about this agency, the repairs are prompt except for the cracking wall that took 6 months. Some agent are good , Gregory is always kind to me and reply emails promptly. But still, this year was hell for me, it was my very first solo apartment and they sucked my blood and spit my bone with no remorse.
Please don’t reply me “ there is no record of you renting from us” I may use sudo name but you know perfectly well who I am.
EDIT: DPS gave my every penny back after 2 months! They also think the landlord doesn’t deserve even one penny of deduction given how awful the condition the property was. 😅Still wasted me so much time and mental load to collect emails and videos and photos I took before and during the tenancy. Please, avoid at all cost , give the good reviews on google maps a pinch of salt always.

GoogleDavid and Jo sold my house when I moved out of Leigh-on-Sea in 2008 so I was pleased to be able to work with them again in 2024 on the probate sale of my parents' home. It was a sad time but the team were so supportive and helped my brother and I negotiate a speedy sale for a very fair price. It is great that a young family will now be able to bring a new lease of life to our old family home. Many thanks.

GoogleI couldn't be happier with the service I received from Jade, Dave and Jon. From our very first meeting, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in selling my property.
They provided an accurate and realistic valuation, and their marketing materials were top-notch, really showcasing the best features of my home. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process; they kept me informed every step of the way, promptly answering all my questions and providing regular updates on viewings and offers. I have now purchased and sold through AS and would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

GoogleI’m posting here because I’ve been unable to get a response through normal channels.
Ashleigh Stone’s contractor caused damage to an armoured electrical cable on my property during works they instructed. Part of my property has been left without power as a result.
Despite multiple emails and calls, I have not been given a repair date, and I have not been provided with the legally required complaints procedure. I’ve been told no electrician will be sent, leaving me with no option but to arrange repairs myself.
I would appreciate a prompt resolution and a clear response from management.

GoogleDid below the bare minimum or even nothing at all to fix issues within a property I rented. Albeit, this is mostly because the landlord would never ever respond to them, but they still should have found other ways to fix disgusting living conditions, such as scratched up, permanently stained, limescaled toilets that were like that upon moving in and never fixed, or even damaged walls and stained carpets. The lights in the lounge weren't even working for a whole month that I had to get somebody around myself to fix the issue. Even on the rare chance the landlord would respond, their contractors would do a half assed job such as they left one room half painted (even getting paint on my monitors), using the cheapest materials to fix a bath panel that just broke again after little use, and suggested we keep some windows closed instead of fixing them themselves. When I finally decided to move out, mostly because of the poor management, the landlord then had the audcity to claim all my deposit and even demanded I pay more for 'damages' which I'm not joking when I say this, 80% of the damages were there from before we moved in and even listed in the inventory. Ashleigh Stone also had the audacity to agree with the landlord here despite the fact they had tens of email evidence, inventory evidence, and maintenance requests proving we asked for all of this to be fixed and was caused by a previous tenant or the landlord themselves. These issues were present at the viewing appointment, but they assured us it would be fixed and dealt with before moving in, but it never was as you can see. I was in a hurry to move in regardless, being a new father who needed space for their child after cramming myself in a one bed apartment beforehand. Luckily, I got my deposit back as after reporting this to DPS as ashleigh stone would side with the landlord, DPS detirmined with my 30 attachments of evidence that I was in the right, and even called out both the landlord and letting agency for being unfair. If Ashleigh Stone is conducting business with a horrible landlord like this, what's to say they aren't with other landlords too and there's other tenants in need right now who aren't getting the help they need. Do better. As of now, I do not recommend going for an ashleigh stone property in the chance you get a dismissive landlord like I did, and where the company do nothing to help.

GoogleA very disorganised letting agent. Our property manager left the company which we were not told about. Therefore, all our emails were ignored. Moreover, before the property manager left, we kept getting told that the landlord was ignoring their emails and there’s nothing they can do.
When we moved, the landlord claimed he had to take our entire deposit plus additional charges. This was disputed by DPS and we got 75% of the deposit back.
Do not recommend, they’re dishonest and disorganised.
