FacebookDO NOT RENT HERE.Dacre and Sons will not honour theIR word, nor treat you like human being.my tenancy was due to end during lockdown, and dispute a verbal contract that I would only pay for the days I was on the property, as soon as I was out, they claimed "normal practice is to give a month's notice so you will have to pay a full months rent"Normal practice?! They have zero compassion, and see you as nothing more than a bank account to bleed dry.everyone else in the UK right now is banding together and helping out their friends and neighbors. but Dacre? no they do nothing but try and get more money out of you and use a pandemic as an excuse.shame on you.DO NOT TRUST THIS ESTATE AGENTS.

Emma Kerrywood Head of Lettings washes her hands of landlords with crooks which have gained access to landlords homes due to the poor referencing undertaken by Homelet, the company Dacre Son & Hartley use to reference tenants. FacebookWe began the process of purchasing a house in Yeadon and had a full building survey done. Unfortunately it flagged serious damp issues deep throughout the entire gable wall and basement. The sellers actually had numerous portable heaters plugged into the basement when he visited to try to dry out the walls. We shared the entire survey with Dacres at their request and weren't happy with the offer to review the price as the scale of work needed was massive. When we walked away the agent confirmed he was disappointed but could completely understand having looked at the survey results. Well low and behold it was shortly on the market for the same price. A couple of months later another sale fell through, undoubtedly after the buyers also paid hundreds for a survey this agency already held. The property has now sold for the original asking price, needing tens of thousands of pounds of building repair work, and this company deliberately concealed that information for profit. I don't know how their behaviour is legal. I'd strongly recommend paying the extra money for a full building survey if you're buying from here. Who knows what they're not telling you.

GoogleDreadful, stressful experience. Tenant referenced through Homelet. Pointless referencing as they accept word of tenant that everything they put down on form is accurate. Anybody could rent a million pound house through Dacres and lie about their details as nothing is checked by Homelet. Use at your peril!

As you know the letting of your property was on a let only agreement with Dacres and the checks were done some time ago with problems arising after the initial tenancy period. Your tenant passed these necessary reference checks. As soon as we were made aware of your concerns regarding the tenant, we raised your complaint with Homelet who investigated and found no issues with the checks they had processed. Our Head of Residential Lettings and Property Management has been in regular contact with yourself and has twice arranged to meet with you to discuss your concerns. If you wish to meet and discuss this in person please do not hesitate to contact us

GoogleLovely people and frequently in contact with good customer service. Sometimes I felt that they weren't converting 1st viewing into 2nd viewings by overcoming some objections to the house that I feel we're misjudged. In the end we got an offer 15k under asking within 3 months of being on the market.

FacebookI used dacres to sell my house. My solicitor paid their bill the day it was provided but I was shocked to receive intimidating emails from them threatening legal action because THEY had fraudulently forgotten/did not add the VAT. I lost money getting funds from long term investments because of their incompetence.
