Excellent service when selling my home from Bycroft. They were over 1k cheaper than other local estate agents and took the time to come to our house to go through the contracts and documents. Michelle kept us constantly updated through the conveyancing process and leased with both sets of solicitors regularly. They helped us in getting more than our asking price. 10/10

We've been on the moving journey with Bycroft for 3 years now, and would highly recommend them. We first marketed our home in 2019, and have been through what can only be described as a complete rollercoaster of a journey, battling the housing market through Covid and loosing both onward purchases and buyers. I've spoken to the team regularly during the last few years now, and every time they have been nothing but professional, friendly and happy to help with whatever query or issue we may be going through at the time (there were many!) We finally completed on a property we love last week and can't thank Nick, Michele, Gemma and the team enough for all they have done in supporting us through this crazy journey.

I had a valuation done for my house by bycroft a few months back and it is honestly the worst decision I made. I told the agent I was not looking to sell just yet, more looking at the value of my property and where I can increase that value by way of extensions, heat source pumps etc.. The agent knowing all of that has taken it upon themselves to call me 2-3 times a day for the last few weeks. On a bad day I have 2-3 calls from several different agents ON THE SAME DAY. Awful pressure sales techniques. If I did intend to sale my property through Bycroft after the work was done, I don’t anymore.

Absolutely awful service . I was trying to buy from them and they told me it was sold ! That was a lie, is wasn’t according to the seller who I knew . They didn’t turn up for another appointment that I had booked and when I finally got to view it I asked them to let me know if anyone else puts an offer in - they didn’t - they just sold it so I didn’t get the option to offer myself and I was a cash buyer ! When I rang them to ask about it , they just didn’t care or apologise . Also tried to sell through them previously and communication was awful , they are soooo lazy and some of the girls just blunt with a bad attitude If I could give a minus star I would . Avoid them , there are plenty of estate agents around that actually want your work

Bycrofts were outstanding from start to finish in particular Michele and Nick. Nick came and valued my property an offered an extremely personable service. Michele and the other staff on the Bycrofts team were very helpful and attentive. The level of service I received was really good. I felt well informed throughout the process and that I could pick the phone up to them at any time for help or guidance on the sale of my house. Even though I wasn't buying a property through them Michele was the other end of the phone giving me guidance and listening to me moan. She deserves a medal. I would thoroughly recommend Bycrofts to anyone!

A bit of a belated thank you. I wanted to thank you for the brilliant service last year when we brought Our house in hemsby and just realised I never did contact you. The estate agents selling our home in Bedfordshire were not great and I think felt intimidated by our buyers who were very persistent about the sale going through quickly. And as a result would put pressure on us.However the service we received from Bycroft was brilliant. There was issues with the land at the property so I know it wasn’t as straight forward as it could have been but your staff were always polite and quick to contact the seller and answer any questions we had. We raised a concern at one point with a damp patch and within 24 hours the seller had organised the company to return to sort the damp. At the time it was a relief to deal with a company who were calm, cooperative and nothing was too much trouble. I think it was Michelle we dealt with mainly and your agent who showed us around the property on a couple of occasions. Well done for brilliant customer service and thank you. We have been in our new seaside home almost a year and couldn’t be happier. X

10 out of 5!! Cannot fault Bycroft at all! We picked them over another very popular estate agents known as they were not pushy, unlike Binors and Mrady . The staff were friendly, and always helpful. They kept us up to date, liaised with the relevant parties for us and put our minds at ease when our solicitors were taking their time. If it wasn’t for Bycroft we would not be now sitting in our dream home and I cannot thank this team enough. A special thanks is needed for Gemma though who dealt with my very emotional times when trying to find our perfect home. Bit of back story... we started looking at the end of Summer, had a couple of estate agents round but were weary of selling ours until we found somewhere. We then saw 1 we liked the look of, contacted Bycroft who it was for sale with, viewed it, loved it. Ours wasn’t on the market still though so they came round the next day & got it up for sale. Unfortunately someone else had “bought” that house the day after viewing though. We were gutted but kept viewing. Must have viewed about 15! All with different agents (even in this process we found the other one to be very pushy whereas Bycroft weren’t). I then got a phone call from Bycroft to tell us that the sale of our 1st viewing had fallen through (chain broke) and would we like to view. We were so excited and viewed the next day. The same day we put an offer in and after a bit of toing and froing Gemma managed to get us it at a price we could afford. Even now we sit in our new home, look at our lovely garden and the peacefulness of it and and cannot believe it is our. It really is our dream come true. Thank you ever so much Bycroft!! If I could give you 10 stars out of 5 I would!!

Very poor customer services from a buyers perspective. Travelling 170 miles to view properties and the property with this estate agent has been on the market over 4 months and they had no interest in talking to us about it or arranging a viewing and eventually hung up on us. I really wouldn't recooment this agent as a buyer or selling as they are clearly not interested in selling properties
