I have been very impressed with all the hard work Chelsie and team have done to get me moved in on the date I choose. They have helped me all the phone calls about everything about the move and appreciate all they have done.

I have been a tenant of Martin and Co since November of last year since they took on my property, having rented the same house for seven years always paying my rent on time.my interaction with Martin and Co has been the worst I have expeirenced in renting for the last 25 years, they offer a shambolic process for maintance do not respond to request even where safety is an issue and have no empathy for the customer. They are happy for you to have to use the ombersman to resolve issues that they have no intention of dealing with. They are the worst example of unscrupulous letting agents and the reason tenants are treated so badly. Avoid at all costs!!

Laura has been absolutely fantastic. Accommodating viewing times around our availability and stayed late when we had traffic issues. Very friendly and approachable - overall fantastic service.

Dealt mainly with Becky and Kimberley (Viewing) and found her to be more than helpful on a few occasions.. even persuaded the landlord to put my moving in date back a week because of the notice period on my old flat. An unenviable job in a fast paced environment where you need to have 6 hats on at the same time. Deposit with the DPS, communication was swift and concise and I've been in a week now. Becky is a true professional and her team made a daunting transition effortless.. Thank you. Kev Doughty.

I was a tenant in a property managed by Martin &Co Grantham office for over five years and found them to be very fair, helpful and responsive. For the latter part of my tenancy I mainly dealt with Becky, and when gave my notice she handled the viewings and the return of the deposit very professionally. Even though I was moving on I still felt like she was looking after and respecting my interests. It was exactly how I would have wanted to be treated.

I have recently taken over looking after property company meaning I deal with multiple agencies. Martin & Co in Grantham has been exceptionally easy to deal with especially in comparison with the other agents - all enquires were responded very quickly, I receive rent statements regularly in a clear and concise format, and both Kimberley and Becky approached any requests or queries I've had in a very professional manner. It's been a pleasure to work with this agency

Thank you to Martin & Co Grantham for selling Dads house, the whole process was made as stress free as possible by the dedicated branch staff. Stephen was our main point of contact and he was excellent from start to finish, always polite and courteous and very knowledgeable in the art of selling houses, the advice he gave us was spot on and delivered at the right times. I am so pleased I decided to use Martin & Co and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I went to Martin and Co to find me a lodger for my room. Although they found me a good lodger the process has been awful. The lodger moved in yesterday and I'm still waiting for the rest of his payment to be transfered to me. I have emailed and phoned the office so many times only to be pushed from this person to person. I have spoken to Phillip the director who is currently on a boat and does not care now as I have paid my invoice for the service they have provided . Today they have informed me that they policy won't allow them to make the payment to me. I think its shocking considering this is the first time I have used them. They advised me to get my lodger to make the payment to me directly even though he has already paid them and then they will refund him how is that fair. All they have done is come up with excuses as to why they can't make payment. I will be taking this further. There is no policy on this earth that says you hold on to a clients money that's been paid to you in error. I am so disappointed in this company. I have spoken to around 4 different people in the grantham office and still I'm waiting. I even texted Phillip the director who apparently is the only one that can make payment. I have paid £354 for a half done service. All I want is this resolved and the remainder of the money transfered to me. They owe me £200 If you want a good service be it a tenant or a landlord go somewhere else. They don't respond to emails or when they say they will call you back they don't. You would assume they would want to build a good relationship for future business but apparently not.

Wouldn't recommend this company jobs reported when vulnerable take over a week to sort out can never get hold of who you need to calls never get returned antisocial behaviour doesn't get sorted I've moved from bad to worse a day late on rent they soon contact you though.... looks like I'm house hunting again. I've reported numerous times the same people to no avail it's got to the point I've said forget it also if you unfortunately do get housed with this company please check bins before deposit rent and tenancy is signed mine was all full infested and took them over 4 months to empty the council refused rightly so as its the company and landlords fault also check your out house mines still full it's terrible. Especially when the rents so expensive aswell

A member of staff 'E' helped the landlady and landlady's mother try to gain access to the property whilst I was in hospital, after A. I was under the impression only he would be attending, B. I was never actually notified that the landlady would be attending and C. I cancelled the inspection due to being in hospital. He asked if he could still do the inspection and I specified that he couldn't and I would contact him when I got out of hospital. So you can imagine that getting notifications from my doorbell camera that people were trying to get into my home without consent was distressing. A lady (landlady) who I'd never seen was trying to get in, followed by the estate agent and the landlady's mother. (Landlady's mother has turned up numerous times without notice, being rude and sending men round to ask for keys and measure fences etc without notice which is harassment). All three of them have breached the tenancy agreement. 'E' hasn't apologised to me for his part in their inappropriate behaviour, breaching the tenancy agreement and breaking my right to quiet enjoyment and damaging my door lock. I have emailed numerous times, asking for inspection reports under UK GDPR (SAR), asking who will be paying for the new lock I had to have fitted, asking for an apology from 'E' instead of a half arsed one full of excuses, from his manager Lucy who is happy to pester me about when the Environmental Inspection reports will be arriving and getting a date for when the landlady's handyman can come round to inspect the damp and mould that has been ignored for the majority of my tenancy but not answer my questions. It was a massive breach of trust anyway, but I had previously explained to 'E' about my anxiety, which is why I had asked him if it would be him attending and he said yes (no mention of anyone else), and he still thought it was ok to breach the tenancy and my trust. Her handyman has already seen said damp and mould and said he thought it was because of cracks in the brickwork near the window, he never mentioned the shed and has previously tried to make excuses saying rising damp doesn't exist. Environmental Health have already seen the issues and have said it is not to be touched whilst I am still in the property because it would cause too much inconvenience. The estate agent have also tried to say that my shed has caused the issues with damp and mould. I know the previous tenants had the exact same problem with that room when they lived here and didn't have a shed. Ah yes, and I got served a section 21 because the landlady spat out her dummy when she couldn't get in, even though legally I'm allowed to change the locks and because I said her mummy wasn't allowed to keep harrassing me and she was not welcome in the property. This is exactly why I changed the locks and got a doorbell with a camera, because of the harassment from the landlady's mother and how rude she is. As I predicted, they tried to get in without permission. Martin & Co have also previously tried to say I HAD to let the landlady's mother in... not correct at all! I've always reported issues which either weren't dealt with or weren't dealt with in a timely manner. I've always let inspections be done etc. As you've gathered, I wouldn't recommend them, I'd suggest you go with a different company, especially if you are a tenant. They don't seem to have an urgency about them when it comes to dealing with emails and your questions. In fact sometimes my emails were never replied to. I can provide all emails and footage of them trying to get into the property if they try to dispute any of what I've said.

I've worked many years in selling property before working in social housing. I would definitely recommend Martin and Co Estate Agent. Staff are very professional keeping you up to date with the process at all times . Martin and Co have recently sold my house in four weeks and have successfully arranged all of the viewings for me with my busy schedule. I can't thank them enough for the support and assistance. Thanks again .

I hate to be a doubter, nor do I wish to be a pain, but my experience with Martin and Co was very poor. I went to one viewing and was totally ghosted forevermore, with not so much as a callback for confirmation of any kind. It has been more than two weeks now, and it's utter silence. I myself have called, and heard nothing. Evan, bless him, did a good job and was inherently trying to help, even if his actual competency was quite low.

Absolutely shocking service .....or should I say lack of. I really didn't want to even submit a single star but since that is the lowest rating and zero was not an option 1 star it is! Viewed a property, filled out relevant forms and followed up with phone calls for an update on the application progression but nobody wanted to discuss or return calls/drop me an email to notify me of the current situation so gave up and rented with another company.

As first time buyers it was truly an eye opening experience into how stressful buying a house could be, whether it be being told they will put the house back on the market after only been given a week to get some quotes as the house had some problems with it or having to deal with some members of staff who seemed a little inconsiderate at times. Two people who were great, very helpful and friendly were Lucy and Stephen so thank you to both of them. Overall I was just happy to have it all over and done with.
