GooglePhoned this agent to arrange a viewing, after taking my details, phone number email address, was told they'd get back to me shortly, no contact after 3hrs I opened an account on their website and arranged a viewing online, 2hrs later received an email stating the viewing was cancelled and property was sold STC .Very poor show, was this a scam?

Dear Mr McIntosh, disappointed to received your review. To explain this property received an offer late yesterday verbally to which the seller accepted, however, we were awaiting the written offer from the purchasing solicitor. This is why our reception took your details at 11.08am this morning until such time as this agreed offer was formalised which it duly did early this afternoon. Your online viewing request was also received , however, As stated no further viewings are taking place as our client has accepted an offer. I can assure you no scam & the property had been for sale for 2 weeks prior to today and our seller is happy with the sale.
