For someone who is very wary of Agencies I have been so impressed by Andrews Gloucester. Initially and briefly I dealt with Josh who was great and then when he was off I dealt with Shannon who was fabulous - she answered all my questions patiently and honestly and put everything in writing via email to me. She also managed to get everything sorted and agreed really quickly and I have just signed on for a fabulous property and really feel like these guys went the extra mile for me. Thanks Team :-)

Happy viewers …

Arranging our viewing was straight forward and Isaac Biggerstaff sorted times and keys etc. He arrived before us and was very welcoming and personable. He showed us around the apartment without being over bearing, allowing us time to look into every nook and cranny, but on hand to answer our questions. He looked after my elderly parents with respect and patience .. Thanks Isaac much appreciated.

Truly awful service from the Quedgeley

Truly awful service from the Quedgeley, Gloucester branch.I've rented through a few estate agents over the last few years, none were great but Andrews has been the worst.It's a shame as I like the house and the owner/landlord is alright.When I collected the keys there was a man going ballistic in the office over a deposit return (they had to call the police), the agent apologised and said this had never happened before.Also I reported a fault with the boiler on the feedback form they sent me prior to an inspection, it wasn't heating the hot water so I had to use the immersion heater instead, which is expensive. They didn't act on the feedback. Nothing was done until the house owner visited then I told him Andrew had not fixed the problem. He instructed them to fix it, so they sent a contractor around. The contractor fitted new parts but the hot water still wasn't being heated by the boiler. I reported it again, and the contractor had the cheek to say that the part he fitted was unclipped, and implied I had been messing around with it.Lately there has been much hassle over getting a replacement fence panel. Andrews were incompetent at dealing with this, asking me to get my neighbour to pay half, saying the landlord would pay half, and then saying he would not pay. They were then asking my neighbour to pay the full cost for their quote. There was a question over who was liable. They basically accused me of being too sensitive when I asked who was legally responsible, as my neighbour is a single parent and I didn't feel comfortable asking her to pay if it wasn't her responsibility. They wanted me to do all the legwork as well.And then they were nagging me asking if I had sorted it out yet.So in a nutshell, you are doing them a favour as a tenant, they do not take on board any feedback, and lack the personal touch in trying to arrange repairs, by a long shot.Comparing the reviews on their own website to those on here shocks me, talk about cherry picking!So in conclusion, if you are a landlord or tenant, best avoid Andrews if you want an easy life.

Apathetic, duplicitous, Avoid!

Apathetic, duplicitous, Avoid! As a tenant they were apathetic towards any issues with the property resulting in several weeks without hot water, or working toilet. After ending my tenancy they used deceitful and duplicitous tactics to drive down the amount of the deposit to be returned. I cannot stress enough how Important it is for tenants to avoid this company
