We have just sold our home via mcmillan in glengormley. 100% recommended them. We also used them to purchase our home 2 years ago, we really wouldn't use anyone else. The service is fantastic. Barry led us threw the process from start to finish. We never once felt like we were just dealing with a company, we felt like they actually cared that we found a home we would love. He cared that it all went smoothly and He listened to what we needed as a family. Not only did he help sell our home (it sold within 3 days) he also helped us with buying our next home even thou it was up for sale via a different estate agent. Their pricing is very realistic, they are very honest about what is achievable and what you should be paying to buy a home. We really valued Barrys opinion. If in the (distant) future we choose to move again we would definitely be using Mcmillan. For now thou I think we have found the perfect home for us.

Very special group of people. Got great practical advice about what to focus on when selling house. Got feedback after every viewing. house sold in under two weeks for a lot more than asking price. Buyer had crisis and fell through. McMillans sold it again in under two weeks for 10 k more than previous time. Stopped me panicking, and reassured me all through the process. They really had my back and seemed to have great data bank of buyers who had been looking in the area flocking to see the property as soon as it went up. Did not expect it all to move so quickly . Have recommended them to lots of people already who have thanked me, they go above and beyond what anyone could expect. Fantastic service, fantastic people and fantastic price. I found the entire crew at McMillan Estate Agents, both property management and sales, to be professional, efficient, and friendly every step of the way. They managed my property for several years then Barrie handled the sale when the time came. The communication was exceptional. I never had to wonder what was happening during the process. I was always well informed! Not an easy task since we were dealing with an 8 hour time difference and a distance of 4,500 miles.

My sister and I recently worked with McMillan regarding the sale of our late mother's house. On our first meeting with McMillan to discuss putting the house on the market, Barrie gave us some good advice about what we could do to the house to encourage buyer interest. Once the house was ready to put on the market, McMillan were very quick to get the sign up, have the brochures printed and create an online presence on the various websites. During the bidding process, they were great at keeping us up-to-date and once the house was sale agreed, they also kept in regular touch with us until the completion date, and assisted with this process. We are very happy with the service we received from McMillan and would definitely recommend them.

The various modes of advertising are impressive & most importantly are successful. McMillan's offer the full range of property services to their clients, ranging from selling / buying of properties , mortgage advice through to legal advice. I greatly appreciated the honesty demonstrated by Mc Millan's agents & I was kept fully informed of all developments regarding the sale, as they occurred. It was an emotional time for me selling my family home of over 40 years. We just had McMillan estate agents take care of the sale of a house for us and we were delighted with the service. We had actually moved to the US and so were trying to do everything 'trans-Atlantic' and have to say that McMillan's did a great job, not just sorting out the sale, but also helping keep an eye on heating etc, around the house, which was important given that we weren't in the country. I began using McMillan Estate Agents in September 2009 and have found they are not only professional in how they deal with customers they treat everyone as an individual. Second time moving house with Jim and his excellent team. McMillan Estate Agents were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They genuinely added a personal touch to the whole experience that very much helped to reduce the usual stress levels associated with moving house. Communication was frequent and professional and we were guided through every step of the way by an experienced team that noticeably cared that we would move home successfully. Any time we had the opportunity to meet the McMillan staff in person, either at their Newtownabbey office or at various properties we viewed, we found them to be friendly, in no way pressurising and very willing to accommodate any requests or queries that we had. I would have no hesitation in recommending McMillan Estate Agents to friends and family (I have done so already as my sister is moving with them at the moment). Hopefully we will not be moving house again lol but if we ever do we will be straight back to McMillans.
