My experience during the conveyancing process: Communication slow, updates unclear, made things v. difficult to plan in the final stages of the transaction. Repeated delays and lack of proactive clarity around timelines which caused unnecessary uncertainty and led to being out of pocket. While the transactions did eventually complete the process felt disorganised and required repeated chasing to get basic updates which caused a lot of what felt like undue stress without much apology. Would not recommend.

My experience dealing with Archibald Sharp Solicitors (who acted for the buyer of my property) was extremely disappointing. Their lack of efficiency and attention to basic procedures caused a week’s delay in completing the sale. Key checks, such as anti, money laundering, were not carried out until after the original completion date, and the missives were not signed until the very day of completion. On that same day, they were largely uncontactable, which added unnecessary stress and uncertainty. The formal offer on my property also took nearly a week to be submitted, despite both the buyer and the estate agent chasing them. The sale eventually went through at 4:55 p.m. on a Friday, a full week later than planned, entirely due to these avoidable delays. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Archibald Sharp if you want your sale to proceed smoothly or on time.

I had the unfortunate experience of being landed with this,company to execute my late Mother's estate the lawyer who was appointed to deal with the case had it for approx 4 weeks went for a 2 week holiday and 1 week after that I received an email stating he would no longer be able to deal with the,case without stating why in the email and on talking with the person on the phone his constant refusal to listen to what I was asking for repeating "his hands were tied " I have no wriggle room " I found insulting unprofessional and frankly disrespectful to my late Mother's memory. I'd say if your thinking of using this company think twice.

Let's start at the very beginning.....................................and you get nowhere!!!!!!!!

We were recommended by friends satisfied by their service. I telephoned to get an appointment. The person answering the phone posed a series of totally irrelevant questions, "who were the friends who recommended?" "Why were we seeking help with wills? ....we should go back to the solicitors who initially prepared them""Who looked after our friends?"....then advised that they would phone back. Five days later they have not done so.....my wife then phoned and the phone rang out with response or answering machine
