I cannot recommend Antony David enough. We have recently sold our house with them and brought a property with them. Unfortunately our house buying journey was not smooth but Tony and Maria went above and beyond, helping arranging surveys and constantly updating the chain to ensure that it did not fall apart. Tony and Maria are so knowledgeable about the whole house buying process which instantly helped calmed any anxieties we had. We are so grateful to them to as without their dedication and help we would not be in our dream family home.

We thoroughly recommend Antony Davies Estate Agents given the experience we had with both selling and purchasing a property through them. We had been in contact with Tony about the sale of our former house for over a year before being in a position to put it on the market (he waited very patiently for us!). As this wasn’t until April, we had thought that there was a slim to none chance of being in a new home by the time our second baby was expected at the end of August, or even finding anything that we liked. In fact, thanks to Tony working some magic, we were in a house that we loved by the beginning of July. Tony was extremely communicative, efficient and friendly throughout the whole process, we felt like we were in very honest and safe hands each step of the way. We never had to hold back asking questions and Tony went the extra mile to help speed things along, in particular with the conveyancing process and liaising with the other buyers and sellers in our chain, answering messages late into the evening. This was often the only time we were able to deal with issues given we were out at work all day, but we did not expect the responses as quickly as we got them. Our previous house sold quickly from the point of being on the market and for the price we were hoping to achieve (despite several lower estimates from other estate agents) thanks to Tony and Maria's efforts. Tony then found us a house that ticked so many of our boxes we couldn’t really believe it was going to happen. But it did, and it was such a wonderful feeling to bring our baby back to our new family home where we hope to be for a very long time. We can’t thank Tony and Maria enough for this! If you are looking for an estate agent who offers a very personal service, really cares about helping you and acts with every ounce of professionalism, then go with these guys. We will certainly be recommending them to our friends and acquaintances.

Excellent throughout! The service we have received from Antony Davis, has been nothing short of both professional and more importantly personal. Tony and his team have been incredible to work with every step of the way and we cannot recommend Antony Davis enough. It has been disappointing to see Antony Davis receive a negative review, in light of a cancelled viewing yesterday on our property. My wife spent the day prior to the viewing making sure the house looked at its best, we made plans to leave the house with our young child all in preparation for this showing. Sadly the clients cancelled 15 minutes prior to this viewing, which is disrespectful to not only us as homeowners who have gone out of our way to get the house ready, but also the estate agent travelling to show the property. Sadly there seems to be some confusion with the review left, as we have a private driveway and allocated parking enough for two cars. We feel this and any other enquiries would have been addressed if the potential buyers would have viewed the property. Again we cannot thank Anthony Davis enough for the service they are providing.

In short use Antony Davis if you are thinking of selling a house, without a second thought. I never wrote reviews for anyone, but I feel I must, and also very glad to write for Tony. Ours is not a regular sale as it is a shared ownership flat involving a housing agency with several rules and conditions. It required a lot of coordination and communication with the seller, buyer, housing agency, and 3 different solicitors. Our initial attempt to sell took so much time due to paperwork not being quickly prepared by the housing agency and eventually we lost a buyer. However Tony was able to find several buyers quickly and also filter down to a buyer suitable for our situation. We purchased a new build property, again Tony and Maria were super responsive providing updates to the developer and keeping everyone in the loop with various stages of the sale and purchase processes. I must say Tony has a lot of patience, and always provided the best suggestions to suit individual requirements. I know Antony Davis has listed and successfully sold properties worth more than half a million pounds. However, they provided the same quality service even for my shared ownership flat. Unlike other big estate agents in Cambridge, Tony values his customer irrespective of how small or big a house we are selling. I should also mention that Maria was absolutely brilliant in communicating with all parties regularly, arranging the open day, and sorting out all the paperwork. In terms of his charges, I would say Tony is very reasonable for the level of attention and service he provides to his customers. Finally, I am glad we have estate agents like Tony's who are still around providing customer-centric personalised estate agency service in Cambridge. Our family could not enough recommend Antony Davis and we are sure you won't be disappointed. I hope this is helpful!

If you want a professional personal service, always with a smile, you cannot beat using Antony Davis Estate Agents whether selling or buying in Fulbourn, Cambridge or all the surrounding area. We have sold & bought in Fulbourn & Cambridge in the last 16 months. Tony and his team have certainly looked after us following our massive move from rural Lincolnshire to Fulbourn, to be close to our family. We found our dream house advertised by their agency which was contingent on a short, quick chain. Tony then visited our house to take photos and it then took a total of 3 working days to go from posting to accepting an offer due to the quality of the photo and description, plus an intimate knowledge of the area! Tony helped us get the best price for our property and I can only believe he did the same for our sellers. During the conveyancing process, we were in frequent contact with Tony and Maria, and nothing was too much, whatever the time of day. I don't believe there are many agents who are happy to take calls in the evening, which made things a lot easier when juggling work, life and a house sale/purchase. Tony and Maria made sure that both solicitors were on their A game and gave them nudges along the way when they were lagging. Their fees were EXTREMELY competitive, but don't let that make you feel like you aren't going to get great service. When downsizing my mother’s house, Tony was acting for the sellers of the house we ultimately bought, and I have to say I have been thoroughly impressed with both Tony and Maria. In terms of the negotiation phase, Tony did a very good job and he made absolutely sure that the sellers got the best price possible. He put a huge amount of effort into making sure that the sellers were well served, and he kept me informed at all stages of the negotiations (there were a few people after the same house). Without doubt , he went above and beyond all expectations and we certainly thought he had an excellent nose for handling the entire negotiation phase. With the negotiations out of the way, Tony and Maria remained as helpful and friendly as ever. For anyone buying or selling a house it’s a stressful business, and of course there is massive worry that it could go wrong at any time. Luckily for us, Tony was again instrumental in making sure things happened when they needed. I don’t think we would have made it to exchange as quickly as we did without Tony. He was an absolute star at being proactive in “project managing” the conveying solicitors to make sure everything kept on track. In summary, If you are in the market for an estate agent I really can’t recommend these people enough. I will certainly encourage anybody I know looking for an estate agent to use Tony and team, and certainly I recommend them over the bigger names. On a final note, I think we all know that estate agents don’t have the best of reputations, but if they were all like Tony, I think we’d all view the profession very differently and with considerably more positivity!

In my view we have just had the best in the business! We first met Tony whilst viewing (and now owning) a property listed with Antony Davis Estate Agents. I was very impressed with Tony's introduction and the in-depth detail given during the viewing. The previous day we had entertained two other Agents to guide and list our own property, both were good, both returned similar valuations, both were more established businesses but neither of them really impressed. After our viewing Tony asked if we could consider him for our own listing, to be honest my first thoughts were no as we had decided on one of the two from the previous day, Tony sold himself very well and we agreed to run with him for an inital 6 weeks and review the situation after that. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Firstly, how many Estate Agents take calls at 8.30pm on a Sunday night? And not just from me either, we had potential buyers calling him at all hours to arrange viewings or answer questions, as a seller how valuable is that! Our sale/move took 6 months to complete, Tony held our hand throughout the whole journey, his knowledge of the industry was second to none, awkward dificult questions from our conveyancer was answered by having a simple call to Tony.
