We moved with Robbie and the team recently, they were outstanding from beginning to end. Passionate about our house, and the area, competitively priced and communicative and reassuring throughout. This combination of things also meant we managed to achieve a higher price than what any of the other agents quoted when choosing a vendor. It really does pay to use somebody who is as passionate about your house/area as you are! Big thanks to the whole team, highly recommended!

Avoid Hamilton, Dishonest, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time! Hamilton is the definition of unprofessional and dishonest. We visited a property after booking an appointment, and after viewing it, we were happy to offer the asking price, no issues with the price at all. The only thing we asked for was a simple change: a two-year contract instead of the one-year term. The agent showing the house told us she was busy all day but would speak to the office once she could, and that she would get back to us. We waited, expecting a call, but instead, the next thing we know, the house is suddenly marked as "Let Agreed." Not once did they inform us that the house was already under offer. Not once did they tell us that someone had already put down a deposit or that the property was under review. If they knew the property was already taken, why didn’t they tell us upfront? Why waste our time? Why even show us the house in the first place? If they had been honest and said, "Hey, the property is under offer, but if it doesn’t work out, we’ll keep you in mind," we would have been okay with that. Instead, we were left hanging. The worst part? They didn’t even have the decency to call us and say, "Sorry, the property is no longer available." We were just left in limbo, with no communication or follow-up. It’s like they couldn’t care less about their clients. The agent herself was completely unhelpful, standing there like a statue, not offering any useful information. We had to ask all the questions, and even then, she didn’t have any answers. She didn’t even bother to offer any extra details or make the experience smoother. Hamilton is a complete joke of a company. dishonest, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional company. They don't care about your time, and they don’t communicate properly. Don’t bother with them, you’ll just get left in the dark. I wouldn’t trust them with anything.

Hamiltons provided an excellent service in relation to the sale of my late mother’s house. Robbie and his team were proactive; they found a buyer very quickly ; and they managed the chain really well as there was several months from us accepting the buyer’s offer to exchange because of the time it took to get probate. They recommended house clearers and cleaners and facilitated access for them meaning I didn’t need to come from where I live to deal with that. All this and their fee was competitive so I did not pay any more for this exceptional level of service. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hamiltons are without doubt one of the most unprofessional estate agents I have ever dealt with. Viewings are turned into opportunities for them to badmouth other agencies rather than focus on the property itself, which comes across as desperate and untrustworthy. When it comes to making an offer, there is no proper process. Unlike reputable agents who require proof of sale or a mortgage in principle and a form submitted. Hamiltons simply say they’ll “get back to you” and then don’t. Their communication is abysmal. The so-called “CEO dog” on their website would probably do a better job of responding. From my experience, they routinely overvalue properties to win instructions, which only results in listings sitting on the market for months while prices are repeatedly reduced. This benefits no one, not buyers, not sellers and certainly not the wider housing market. I now refuse to even view a property marketed by Hamiltons. If you do end up dealing with them, expect to witness exactly how an estate agent should not operate. My advice: avoid at all costs.

Completely unprofessional and not trust worthy. The Managing Director is a compulsive liar and only tells you what you want to hear and does not act in your best interests. Robbie talks the talk but is just that - talk. He promises the world and does not deliver. After numerous requests for documentation, confirmation and updates on our current situation over both email and phone call Robbie is now avoiding me. Robbie has personally caused so much upset and stress. I would not trust this company and strongly urge everyone to avoid.

After much debate, we decided to downsize and move from our happy family home after 22 years. We decided to return to Frimley Green where we first lived after getting married. We had no idea what we would get for our money so we went to talk to Hamiltons. Robbie Ridgway arranged for us to view 3 very different properties, without our house being on the market, to give us an idea of what we could get for our money. We walked into the first one and that was it. ���That was at the end of January and on the 15th May, this home became ours!!! From day one we received honest, sensible and what we can only describe as excellent service. At the beginning of our house being on the market we were told by many other larger estate agents that this independent estate agents would not sell our house! Apparently they do not have the same data base!!! This is absolute rubbish! They had two offers for our house, at the price they told us we would achieve within 3 weeks of being on the market. Robbie advised us which buyers to go with and why and he was spot on with that advise too. Although we had a lovely home, it does back onto the motorway, so we knew it would not be for everyone. The key here was to get the right buyers through the door which Hamiltons did. We were kept informed throughout the process and kept sane during it with expert advise and information. Near the end of the process, at the bottom of the chain there were a couple of hiccups which could have resulted in the collapse of the chain. We have no doubt that Robbie Ridgway saved the day, doing the work which should have been done by another agent. We can't thank them enough. So do not be bullied by other estate agents into thinking that a smaller agent can't sell your house!!! It's rubbish. Listen to the valuation you are given, ours was spot on! If you want to be kept informed throughout the process, at weekends and evenings too then we cannot recommend Hamiltons enough. Robbie, Mike and Caroline go that extra mile. Thank you so much.
