We bought our house through Clarke and Simpson. We have been working with Oliver Johnson and the office team. I can’t thank them enough for all of their assistance with the purchase, Oliver and the team definitely went above and beyond what I would normally expect from an agent. The house needs some remedial work and they even suggest local contacts and local tradesmen for us to contact, they helped with surveys and organized meeting the contracts on site. We were extremely pleased with Clarke and Simpson who helped us sell our cottage. We couldn't have had a better estate agent: In modern times, with most buyers finding properties via the internet, an excellent estate agent does not just find buyers but supports you through the whole sales process. Clarke and Simpson are unique in their ability to do that. When we decided to sell, we contacted a number of estate agent. We engaged Clarke and Simpson because Stuart Clarke really seemed to know the market for our type of property. He also, at that initial meeting, already gave us invaluable advice (what time of year would be best for launching, what kind of actions to take, such as what to have serviced and checked and what papers to have ready before the cottage went on the market so that the sale wouldn't be held up). When we launched, the whole team was excellent: Stuart who was our sales agent seemed to be available 24/7 and answered each question very quickly. The team in the office was friendly and professional. They gave us the impression that our cottage was their main project even though, when you drive around Suffolk, you can see that they handle a huge amount of properties. Their viewing agents were excellent. Most importantly, when the sale was delayed due to the solicitors, Clarke and Simpson, made sure that we and the buyers were kept informed about what was happening and even contacted the solicitors on our behalf. They ensured that the sale went through without problems. Thank you Stuart and "team Stuart"! So if you are thinking of selling a property in Suffolk, we would wholeheartedly recommend Clarke and Simpson.

We have just purchased a property through Clarke & Simpson in Framlingham, specifically dealing with Oliver Johnson. We have been very proactive purchasers, pushing for as speedy a completion as possible, and Oliver has always been reachable by phone and/or email. He would always call us back as soon as possible if he was busy and communication was very good at all times of the day. Any requests we had for action, be it communication with the vendors or solicitors for example, were always carried out as soon as possible and we really felt that Oliver was working extremely diligently to ensure all parties were happy and the purchase went through as soon as possible. We have been really pleased with our dealings with Clarke & Simpson, Framlingham, and would highly recommend them.

When looking for a cottage in Suffolk years ago I really liked Clarke and Simpson's approach - they were really friendly and encouraging, realistic about price and sent out a selection of new properties on paper on a regular basis, which was always rather exciting to receive in the post. So - when it came to selling the cottage that we had eventually bought, they were clearly going to be the firm we chose. Despite the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, Stuart Clarke of Clarke and Simpson generated lots of interest in the house and it sold successfully over the asking price, in a timely fashion to a chain-free buyer who has just completed without a hitch.
