We have used Reeds Rains for the purchase and sale of our properties over the last 10 years and I am glad to say that the service is as good as ever. They are a very professional and personable company. Habil and Jolly were always helpful and on time when showing our properties but special mention goes to Adam who takes a very personal approach and has helped getting the properties over the line when it mattered most. Their biggest strength in my opinion is how they keep everyone informed and always call you when they say they will. House buying, selling and moving are all pretty stressful so it is a relief to know that your estate agent is working in the background to help you through that process. I would highly recommend Reeds Rains to anyone, in fact I have.

Reeds Rains have been very helpful to me when selling my late Mum and Dads house. They advised on price drops and were patient when I had to relay and get answers from my 5 Siblings. When a sale fell thought unexpectedly they were quick to fined other viewings and another buyer which we had a very quick sale completed after that. Adam and Stephen were very helpful with good advise given and the rest of the staff were helpful when I had to keep phoning as I had not been through this process before. it was pleasure to work with them and they are now assisting my son to sell his Flat.

Absolutely diabolical service from inept, defensive staff. There seems to be a high turnover of staff in the Hebden Bridge branch, with poor handovers and often the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. They contradict information given between solicitors, and vendors, cause undue stress and delays, go back on the comments they make when challenged, and have taken over 15 months to sell a house that has had a buyer waiting to complete since the first offer.I would strongly recommend that if you want to efficiently buy or sell a property that you look elsewhere. This service has been SO poor that I have advised a friend to not even consider buying the house they are currently interested in as it is only being advertised by Reeds Reins Hebden Bridge and I would not wish this service on anyone else. Edit in respone to Reeds Reins Reply:Whoops- just to evidence their incompetence they don't even seem to know the house completed and I moved in 10 days ago! Way to tell on yourself 😅Yes, my house sale fell through because of delays with your sale, thats precisely my point. I had a cash buying landlady waiting to go and when I was still waiting on basic paperwork and relying on mixed messages from yourselves 7 months in she understandbly bailed. I then cancelled my second sale to a cash buying company which I rushed through in order to save the chain having received alot of pressure to rush once you told me you seller was ready, only then to be told by a different staff member they were 'no where near ready', of course I'm not going to take £30k less than I need to if you had further delays. Having met the branch manager the day I completed, as he had to drop my keys here at the end of office hours as no one called to confirm they had them as I was informed they would, knowing I was moving from another city, I can see why there is such a high turn over of apathetic seemingly clueless office staff, if he is at the helm,my removal man couldn't have summed it up better when he described him as the C word. (Side note if you value safety just be aware he also handed me the keys without even asking my name let alone asking to see ID.)Terrible terrible service, steer well clear at all costs.Positive shout out to Emily who does the weekend vieweings, the only competent person there.

Toby has restored my faith in letting agents. I have had bad experiences with a couple of other Folkestone agents when I have been trying to find tenants for my house but Toby found me my tenants who have been magnificent, paying rent on time, reporting issues and taking great care of my house. I would certainly recommend Toby and the Folkestone office to other landlords. No stone is left unturned and their attention to detail and understanding of requirements is very comprehensive and knowledgeable.

As a buyer, I received regular and excellent communication and they were really amenable to requests to visit the property during the process, when I wanted to take some measurements. The property I was purchasing had a number of issues, and Adam and his team were fantastic in dealing with resolving those difficulties. Truly awful experience

Truly awful experience. I would not go with this company ever again, not because of the company but because of the landlords they choose.We went through reeds reins even though the landlord managed the property. We went without heating for 10 days with 3 kids. In fact the boiler broke every 3 months for years. There is a leak in the kitchen coming from the bathroom which was also never fixed. Let's not speak about he broken fence.The landlord often entered the property without permission, even if we were not there. When we left, they with held the deposit due to damage we have caused. But then they never did changed anything before for the next tenant l moved in... Where did our money go?Unfortunately my opinion of reeds reins is now they only work with landlords nobody else would choose. They are not responsible for the upkeep of the property but they are responsible for who they decide to work with.

Worst estate agents ever

Rented a house for my family, before moving in i requested that the house was cleaned and garden fixed as any tenant would expect. (The back garden gate was damaged lay on the floor and it led to an alley way in town. there was masses of waste both in the front and back even inside the house. They called us in on a Saturday at 2pm to collect the keys (They close at 3) & did an inventory in the office and said we could raise any issues within a week if the inventory did not match. When we raised these issues they had contractors take a look and we took 3 days off work for each time they came, nothing got fixed, they didnt stick to their word of even cleaning the garden. There was wiring sticking out of every wall in the house. They agreed to fix these issues, the blamed us for not checking the property properly and accepting it was. They were extremely slow in responding after 2 months of us constantly requesting the fixtures be made, they decided they would rather 'mutually' terminate the contract. Not without incurring costs though.

This was my first time selling a property and therefore had very little to go on, but I knew that Reeds Rains has been well established in Folkestone for a number of years and decided to engage with them for the sale, I did also obtain some other quotations, however Reeds were cheaper and also including premium listing, thus being cheaper than anyone else on the market. However, this did not come as a detriment to the level of service we received as both Stephen and Adam were exceptional throughout the whole process. Given the tricky market conditions we are able to achieve full asking with in less than a month of being on the market. On this basis I would strongly encourage anyone looking to buy/sell/rent to get in touch.

We were very pleased with Reeds Rains professionalism dealing with both our purchase and sale in Folkestone. Everything was dealt with in a timely manner plus any questions we had were answered promptly. Every member of the team was friendly, down to earth and efficient. We had a few hurdles to get to completion but they were handled in a timely manner which sped up the process and relieved a lot of stress.
