To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

An amazing listener which was duly noted as Im quite literal and very black and white person. She understood my position thus far and how I was not happy or satisfied. Did not complain or was rude but took me on and made it her mission to get me processed and through the system as quick as possible. Because of this I now have the accommodation I want. Was very close to taking my business elsewhere. Amber brown was very professional in the viewing and answered my queries.At first I wasn’t sure whether to leave a review due to certain difficulties I came up against whilst dealing with Bairstoweves but the way Lisa took on my case and made it her mission to turn my experience around was outstanding and should be an example.

We recently embarked on a grand adventure of moving into a property through Bairstow Eves, aiming to settle in before Santa squeezed his way down the chimney. Thanks to the superhero trio comprising Jade, Amy, and Joseph, our Christmas miracle came true! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. From start to finish, their service was top-notch, leaving us with nothing but smiles.Now, here's the twist: the only hiccup we encountered was the moving-in gift box they provided. Can you believe it? 0.0% beer! It's like they were trying to test our resolve. Almost had us deducting a star from our rating! But hey, let's not dwell on that minor blip. Overall, this branch is a well-oiled machine, managing everything with finesse.Kudos to the team for a job well done! You've earned yourselves a round of applause. 🎉

David, Sophie, and Ross were exemplary in their conduct and ensured that the family was at the heart of the process.Despite a huge number of setbacks, the team never waivered and ensured that my dad's home was sold at its highest possible value. Pricing was realistic and the discussions were always open and honest. I would strongly discourage anyone from renting student property through Bairstow Eves based on our experience at 14 Devonshire Promenade this year. During the middle of winter, our house was left without heating for three weeks, which is completely unacceptable, especially in freezing conditions. We were initially told we would receive compensation for this, but that promise was later withdrawn without proper explanation.

I highly recommend Bairstow Eves Sudbury, Ross, David and Sophie were great at every opportunity when buying our first property, bungalow.After being let down by another estate agents across the road, me and my partner were very nearly at the point of giving up looking for a family home, but David and co soon turned that around! Constant updates via email and phone calls made buying a property feel natural at every step possible! Thank you for all the help and guidance when required, you guys have been great 🤩

AVOID AVOID AVOIDI recently had the displeasure of dealing with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents, and it was an experience that left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. From start to finish, their incompetence and lack of professionalism were evident, with countless issues that made the entire rental process extremely cumbersome.The most glaring flaw was Jason, Freddie and Jessica's abysmal communication skills. They were consistently unresponsive, failing to return calls, emails, and messages promptly. It often felt like we were chasing them for necessary information, updates, or even simple questions. This lack of communication created unnecessary stress and wasted valuable time.Unreasonable Charges: The letting agency imposed exorbitant fees and charges for their services, without any tangible value in return, leaving us feeling exploited and taken advantage of. The lack of transparency in their fee structure only added insult to injury.Overall, my experience with Bairstow Eves Letting Agents was nothing short of a nightmare. From their poor communication, and unreasonable charges, they consistently underperformed and failed to meet even the most basic standards expected from a letting agent.I strongly recommend steering clear of Bairstow Eves Letting Agents to avoid unnecessary stress, wasted time, and unfulfilled expectations. There are undoubtedly better options available in the market that prioritize professionalism, efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.

The positives - the majority of the staff are actually nice, apart from someone who claimed to be the manager. He complained about his own staff to me when someone had been off ill and dismissed any responsibility for fixing the poor service we received, asking for sympathy himself instead.The main issue is that when staff are off, nobody takes over their work. Nobody tells you they are off. So if the person responsible for your sale is off, nothing gets done. It takes lots of chasing to get a call back, so you are left with no progress being made for long periods of time.There were some issues with our sale because of difficulties that the buyer had with the mortgage provider. The buyer used a mortgage broker with Bairstow Eves, so I thought this would have been easy to fix, but it didn't help smooth the process at all, and each phone call ended up being a long chain of relayed messages with little to gain, and things only progressed once I asked the estate agent for the contact details of the mortgage broker, spoke to the mortgage broker, then found the details of the valuer from the mortgage lender and spoke to him directly. This feels like the sort of thing I was paying Bairstow Eves £3600 to do for me.This wasn't an isolated incident, and the same issue was repeated with dealing with issues with the EWS1 form, where after waiting for weeks with no movement I suggested calling the company who was responsible for the certificate, upon which the issue was resolved promptly. Again, this felt like the work I was paying someone else to do for me.Overall, I put in far too much work to justify a £3600 fee. Coupled with the rude emails I received from Countrywide chasing an AML fee that hadn't been paid because initially they had failed to invoice my solicitors, so my solicitors only knew the commission due through me, I would run like hell away from any Countrywide Estage Agents if I ever needed to sell a property again.(Mostly) lovely people, useless organisation.

The team at Bairstoweves in Billericay were absolutely brilliant , professional, thorough, followed through on delays involving solicitors, surveyors and all areas of our buying and selling , and kept us informed weekly !Both our buyers and ourselves had issues with the speed ( tardiness ) of our respective legal and financial people but Bairstoweves stepped in quickly and timely to bring our sale to a conclusion . I cannot praise or recommend them enough! We will certainly be using them in the Future . Thankyou Billericay Team you were exemplary.

L I sold a house and they over estimated the fees and tried to charge me 8 grand. They are dirty don’t touch them. They have very good lawyers as well that will play the game. Avoid this headache.

One star because no stars is not an option. If you want to let a property and then chase your own money for the next year, Bairstoweves is the place to go. You will not be told when your supposed to cash in your rent or what the process is when your tenants don’t pay, you will just be left guessing. All of that for a steap management fee. @Bairstoweves, Breach of contract is the term I guess.

We purchased a building through Robin and the team at the Sanderstead branch of Bairstow Eves. It was a long, drawn-out legal process lasting several months. Robin kept in touch with us, let us keep seeing the building so we could work out how we would update it, and whether the building was empty, and check that the pipes hadn't burst as the tight sellers had turned off the heating. He even showed us a similar building that was finished to help us visualise how the house could look when it's updated.Robin and the team exceeded our expectations - which is very rare! Bairstow HQ - give that team a pay rise!

It has been a long and stressful 3 weeks until I spoke to Chrissie …. In 3 weeks she is the only letting agent to call me back and was so helpful and supportive in trying to deal with the insurance company the claims department the rapid relocate people …. So as you can guess there was a lot of phone calls back and forward …. Chrissie was so patient with me and guided me through so emphatically….. Excellent experience with the South Woodford branch. Itayi, Hayley and Alicia were super helpful and responsive to all our communications and kept us guided and informed throughout the entire letting process from the very start to the finish. We just moved in to our new home and Itayi was there to meet and greet us and explained everything clearly. The whole experience was fantastic and Itayi and team are a real credit to Bairstow eves. This is first time we’ve used this agent having having dealt with other letting agent/companies in the past. Bairstow eves have raised the bar high in this industry - we can only highly recommend them to others.
