GoogleVery poor customer service. My friend was looking to rent one house. I ring the Agensy and was asking if the house are still available they said yes its is I was asking if there is aloud with pets they said yes there should not be any problems and then they make the appointment next day to view the house they show two houses what was available my friend liked second house and they was planning to rent that house but we didn't know if the second house are aloud pets and we was asking if there is aloud with pets the agent told that they have to call the landlord to ask if he will be happy accept the pets to be in his house, and agent told us they will contact us in afternoon and will tell us what landlord said about pets. We was waiting for a call but they did not ring back and I was calling three times but no one was answering my call... The last time I logged on, all the details I had previously entered for my property had been removed , including the valuation . I then tried to input it again, however I was prevented from doing so by the website. This is very disappointing, given the hours I have spend uploading all of my info and the details of the work and expenditures I had updated over the years.It would not allow me to claim my property as the owner.

The Zoopla website is excellent for checking on house prices in selected areas with the advantage of also seeing sold property estate agent details such as sold date & price, photos etc. Certainly saves trawling through Rightmove searches.Zoopla also provide useful articles and tips on buying, selling, renting. The only criticism is that the estimated house prices do seem to be a bit on the "light" side and are not updated very often. Also trend reports by RICS as well as estate agents would be welcome.

The company asked me to send completed form after viewing and I have not got any feedback. The other asked me to confirm interest, which I did and no feedback since then. The house price valuations are laughable for my area. I have no idea when they changed how they were calculated but they seem to now have a different approach. They clearly tried to be clever with it. I am in the process of selling My house and 2 potential buyers have questioned the valuation given and quoted zoopla being 40% less! Apparently, I can ask Zoopla to adjust their published valuation price of my home - why should I have to? They are the ones who set up this online tool - the previous valuation they had for my house used sale price, and market info. to reach a valuation and it was accurate.

There used to be a pet allowed in the filter , but lately it does not show it all the time , so have to use the key word ,and type in pets allowed .On three occasions Zoopla has given properties that are pet friendly , but when contacting the agents to book a veiwing ,and mentioned we had a small well behaved dog , with good reference from my previous landlady , of 6 years (who had to sell our rented property due to unforseen circumstances ) the realestate agents have stated that no pets are allowed. So why is Zoopla giving misinformation ?.

House valuations are purely based on regional indices on what was paid for a house. If there are two identical houses next to one another, but the previous sale price of one of them was negotiated low to achieve a quick sale, then that house will always be valued lower by Zoopla, even though there is no underlying reason for a lower valuation. Zoopla estimated valuations also fail to factor in home improvements and the state of the property.

I've used Zoopla for many years. I'm a BTL landlord. I find Zoopla very useful when i need to research annual rental values, in order to fairly judge the annual rent rise. Their website is easy to navigate. Also, when we need to advertise a property to find a new tenant. They are a good yardstick for the feel of the market. Only one slight criticism:Their property valuations seem to be on the optimistic side! Otherwise, overall all good.
