GoogleWe rented a property through Honey Lettings for just over 3 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. The whole team are a pleasure to deal with, they're friendly and professional and answered our queries and fixed maintenance issues promptly. We've rented through several agents over the years and Honey Lettings have been the best by far. It's nice to feel as though the tenants and landlords are equally cared for. Highly recommend.

GoogleThe owners Lorraine and David Hutley, we found to be slightly on the rude side. The rest of the staff were nice and easy to deal with. It’s worth pointing out David who is the joint owner of honey letting has left a 5 star review on here... atleast he thinks he’s good!
Arr Bee, we are sorry that you found our approach slightly rude. As you do not give your name or stated if you are a Landlord or Tenant I am not able to reply in detail. I acknowledge that I placed a review when I initially set the site up, I felt it was fairly obvious that this was an advert and gave my full name.

We contacted their Fleet office the same day a rental property was added to their website. We were asked a number of screening questions and asked to complete an online questionnaire in order to arrange viewing. Once submitted received acknowledgement of receipt. After a week we had not received any update and I called the office and was promised a call back with an update. No call. I called again a few days later to be advised the property was already under offer to somebody else. This company had one job to manage rentals and they couldn't have the common courtesy to 1) return peoples calls & 2) inform us without having even viewed said property it had been offered to someone else.

GoogleAs a landlord, I've used a number of local letting agents, and Honey Lettings have been the best bar far. They're competitively priced, responsive and thoroughly professional. As such, I wouldn't trust my property to any other agent.

We work hard to provide an excellent customer service at Honey Lettings, and are disappointed that you have chosen to leave such a negative review. In our view your comments have been made due to your failure to be selected for a tenancy at a particular property you viewed with us recently. As we explained in our email, it seems you had not picked up our voicemail message to inform you that your application had not been successful. We also provided a call recording to you as you had disputed this fact during our telephone conversation. The property was very popular and as part of our commitment to the landlord, we submit all interested parties offers to them. In our message and phone conversation we explained that, unfortunately for you, the landlord decided to proceed with a different applicant. We are sorry we did not meet your expectation in this instance.

Terrible lettings agency as a tenant. Tried to take my deposit at the end of tenancy by making several false claims against us. We contested with the DPS, thankfully they ruled in our favour.

It is difficult to reply to a review that provides no detail. I am aware that you showed interest in a property as a tenant via Rightmove and that we replied via phone and then via email. My guess will be that when came back to Honey Lettings a while later and we had already let out the property. If I am correct I feel your 1 star review is unreasonable.

This 2 star review from "A" highlights the issues with Google. Negative reviews are used in retaliation when people don't get what they want. If "A" would like to provide more information as to how our service justified this review then we as a company could look to use the information to improve our service.

I can see you have recently moved into one of our managed rental properties and I hope we continue to impress with our service.
