Their professionalism, clear communication, and friendly approach meant we understood the whole process as we progressed trough our sale and purchase. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

FacebookJust like to say a huge thank you to all at delmor for selling my home. From start to finish everything went smoothly and was stress free. I was so nervous but the girls in the office especially Ann and Lisa were fantastic, always keeping me updated and never too busy to answer my never ending questions, they always had time for a chat and to put my mind at rest. with all there hard work my home sold within 2 weeks. I cannot recommend delmor enough, thanks again xx

I dealt with Delmor Cowdenbeath and Delmor Leven recently and I simply would say this: avoid. The staff seem friendly but is's all superficial (estate agents are infamous in that regard) and with hindsight, they don't like it if you ask too many questions. Just sign the form and pay the extortionate fee (see title). I wish I had never contacted them. The only reason I chose them was because in the town where I lived, their sales boards were in nearly every street. Be advised that they will charge you a minimum fee of around £1500 or more regardless of how much effort it takes to sell your property. They (Delmor) should only bill actual chargeable hours plus their percentage, which in my case, wouldn't have been very much, at all. Even if this is common practice,it does not make it right or fair. There's no way I should have been charged so much when my flat was basically sold in one day. Shop around, get quotes, which is what I should have done. I was left today with no help from their Leven branch that took me hours to do, when they should have sorted it as they were the selling agents. Would have taken them no time at all. Four hours on the phone and sending emails, hours of my life ruined because of Peter Hind and his colleagues not doing their jobs. Mr Hind threatened on the phone to "come and have a word" with me when I complained. Totally unprofessional and very inappropriate. Not unlike a playground bully, and to make matters even worse, he is the branch manager. They (Delmor) refused to help or even accept that their client, the seller, had created a great deal of work for me, which was completely unnecessary. I definitely won't be contacting them next time, or for any reason, I will go back to my previous estate agent who were much better in every way. My time is equally valuable as anyone who works for Delmor, though they obviously think differently. I sincerely hope this review is read by someone at their Head Office as it's all 100 % true. I will provide a full account, this is only a summary. Mr Lind crossed a line today, unacceptably, I will be selling and buying again in a few years and will not even consider this lot for anything.

The lovely girls, Michelle, Angela and Carolyn, were so efficient, you would not think you were doing a house sale. Everthing, from start to finish went so smoothly it was a breeze. It's so obvious they are a great team who love their jobs with an amazing sense of humour to make your transaction as easy and painless as possible. I can't recommend them highly enough! Well done and thank you, you wonderful girls 😊.

GoogleCan't thank Delmor enough for handling our recent house sale. We've used Delmor on three occasions dating back to 1999, we've always been delighted with the high level of service. I was pleasantly surprised on this occasion that they've moved with the times, all the viewings were texted and emailed which was really helpful.We were fortunate enough to have a lot of interest in our property and this meant a great deal of graft for Angela, Michelle and the team. They handled it all really well and kept us fully informed throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Delmor.

When it came to the buying side, I had to deal with other estate agents as well as delmour and the service I received from them was night and day compared to the rest. A big thanks to Anne who always went the extra mile and was always happy to help even though I was calling most days lol.

The staff are so helpful and guide you through the process which is great as it’s not something most people do on a regular basis. I would thoroughly recommend Andrew and his team to sell your house, service is second to none.

GoogleShocking if I could give this company a zero I would I'm a young buyer who works night shift told them this and sacrificed a large portion to be left waiting and no one to be home selling ending up showing up unhappy to see me and tell me the property was sold, phone serval times emailed haven't heard a word and I wasn't the only buyer to have showed up either minutes later 2 more show up to view. Horrendous

FacebookAndrew Watt came to look at our flat, didn't want to really look around or listen. Didn't look at the garden and asked why he was there.. We were hoping to value the flat to get it on the market but that not what these estate agents do. While looking at his watch asked if I needed anything more from him.. The value... He said 75k even though two previous companies who looked around quoted 90k. Left within 5 minutes of arriving. Complete waste of time after fully renovating a flat and taking a day off work for this boso to not care.

FacebookIt was a long and hard stressful slog, but after the best part of 5 months, we finally finalised paperwork, sold our house and moved into our new one. But... The selling part was done and dusted in a matter of weeks of the property coming onto market, in a big way, it was thanks to Delmor. They are a long and we'll established firm in the area, the prime reason we went with them...they know the marketplace and have their finger on the pulse of the property trade. Angela and the rest of the Delmor team had our old house photographed and listed within a few days of getting the go ahead. The team at were on point, professional, polite and friendly. Would easily recommend them as your estate agent when the time comes to move. Thanks Delmor!

GoogleI can't be positive enough about Angela and the rest of the Delmore Cowdenbeath team. They are AMAZING. We contacted them on Monday requesting a fast response to secure the home we wanted to buy, and they had our home valued, home report arranged and completed, professional quality photos taken, viewings arranged and our home sold by the next Monday morning! Can't recommend them enough. Awesome service, they kept us right and took really brilliant photos for our ad. I've always thought I'd use purple bricks, but now I see the value in a good estate agent. Would absolutely use their services again.

FacebookFrom a start to finish I found Delmor rude, they don’t listen, and will try and take your deposit for the stupidest things eg indentations on the carpet caused by furniture. Be very weary if you rent from Delmor!!
I had same problem with them mate. Horrible for getting you’re deposit back.

FacebookWhat a team! I used Delmor to sell my property previously and they sold it well above what other estate agents were suggesting that I put it on the market for. Similarly I have had dealings with the team recently and found that they all go above and beyond what you would expect from an estate agent. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Delmor again in the future. GoogleSuch a lack of communication between the estate agent and me. I was heartbroken that they didn't even have the common decency to tell me that the house is sold I had to find out from my solicitor. Two weeks after I found out the house was gone the advert is still up not even indicating that the house has been sold.

Save yourself a load of heartache and avoid this bunch of amateurs. I tried to sell a property with them and after they left my property unlocked not once but twice (they were handling viewings on my behalf) the managing director called me liar and suggested that I didn't know how to lock my own front door.

GoogleLack of interest in showing a home - "Don't want to be traipsing back and forth" - Isn't that what you're being paid to do?! Don't take on a property to sell if its outwith your area?! Unwilling to let us view out of office hours. Badly advised from them with regards to solicitors. No answer at the end of the phone when website says they're open.
