We have recently sold our second property in 2 years with William H Brown Wisbech. Karolina Gasior has been our main contact for these sales & she is absolutely brilliant! She’s friendly, professional, helpful & keeps you updated with feedback etc. Although we have no intentions of moving again, if we did we would want Karolina to be our point of contact. Kirsty Young was our After Sales Progressor  & she has been amazing! Through no fault of William H Brown our sale wasn’t easy & without Kirsty at the other end of the phone/email it would have been much worse! Kirsty is friendly, professional & very responsive, regardless of how big or small your query is, she always makes time to help.

My experience with William H Brown was extremely poor. Paperwork was repeatedly wrong or delayed, communication was sloppy, and the overall attitude felt unprofessional and inattentive. Basic tasks were mishandled, and the team didn’t seem focused on delivering a competent service. I left feeling frustrated and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable lettings agency.

Edit: after leaving the below review 3 months ago, I am annoyed to be writing an update to state that the staff were disgustingly rude to my mother in law when she phoned regarding clarification on a council tax query she had. Being told they were only employed to facilitate the contract and everything else needs to go through the landlord. Why was this never given in writing prior to signing the lease? Surely if you rent via a rental agency, one would be given all the facts? Regardless of who the person in the office was, I am so disappointed that I jumped the gun on a review when I didn't get the full picture. Sarah Townshend helped me arrange a rental for a family memeber immigrating to the UK and has been the most amazing help from the first phone call. I explained our situation and while not the conventional rental situation, she stayed in contact, gave me updates and overall gave me the support that one can only wish for when you are trying to set up a home for family. Thank you so much Sarah, you are a god sent and I will always come back to William H Brown if I get to work with you again!

I dealt with William H Brown as they were the estate agents listing the property me and my partner just moved into. Along the whole process I was dealing with an agent called Kirsty, she was very polite and responsive to any queries I had. She was also on top when it came to hassling the solicitors so we didn’t have to which was very appreciated. When talking to her over the phone and Email she certainly has a personality to her which is nice to see. Overall I had a pleasant experience dealing with WHB at this branch and would recommend to anyone. Thank you Kirsty!!

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

All I can say is they are shocking

All I can say is they are shocking. They have a brilliant sales pitch to get you hook on using them to sell your property then once you agree the service they provide goes downhill from there. 99% of the viewings are time wasters as they are not vetted before viewing that they are even interested or proceedable to purchase. They promise open house viewing days but have never once done anything like that. Communication is poor and I'm always chasing them for everything. You get sent offers you accept them then they say the buyer has lowered their offer will you accept it.
