The very friendly and helpful staff of Beal's Estate Agents certainly made the selling of our property easier, in particular Sarah Tyson was always cheerful, available for a chat and even when absent from the office ensured that we would be given assistance. Due to Sarah's hard work we were kept up-to-date at all times and in our opinion she went over and above her brief to ensure our selling experience went as smoothly as possible. Would not hesitate to recommend Beal's Estate Agents.

Not so good p

I don’t normally leave reviews on other people’s behalf but this situation is outrageous. My friend moved into a lovely flat, or so we thought, and the following issues occurred: no hot water for 3 months, no fridge shelves, shower completely broken, building materials left through the flat, and no working plug sockets in the kitchen. Not only did half of their flat not function, but they were promised a free months rent for all of these troubles. To this day, no free rent or discount or money has been given back. Embarassing quite frankly.

We put the house on the market last May just before alot of economic uncertainty. Over the next 7 months we accepted 5 different offers that fell through for varying reasons. I dealt with the team at Park Gate. First point of contact was Emma who gave me the confidance to sell with them. Then Lauren who made appointments, showed the property and also gave feedback after every showing which really impressed me. When the property was sold we were passed to Katie who saw the rest of the process through with many emails and calls to all the parties concerned making sure it got to completion. Really impressed, great service would recommend Emma and her team to everyone if asked.

Great experience Beals Park Gate

We had a great experience buying our house through Beals. Emma and Lauren were fantastic with negotiating what could have been a complex and long procedure but actually went through within abt 6 weeks and managed to align our completion dates which was very important to us . Emma and Lauren kept us up to date and always returned our calls or emails within a few hours. We would definitely recommend Beals in Park Gate to anyone.

Bad experience today..

I had a viewing with one of your agents, Jasmin Warwick is her name. She was genuinely disinterested, in a rush-the whole viewing was less then 5 mins, didn't give us any information about the property we were viewing, didn't even say before hand that someone is still living there. She had no idea whether the flat comes with parking, even though it was specified on the website. Very unprofessional, not interested at all wether we wanted the property or not. I am sorry I have to give such a low rating, but the rating is for the whole experience,not the whole agency. Not helpful at all on this occasion.

Genuine people do nice things. Fortunately for me, my experience with the letting team at Beales has been a great one. The service, the care and the all round knowledge the team has, have allowed me to have valuable, virtually trouble free business liaison. I want to expand my portfolio but will do so in an area that has a Beales that can consistently cater to my standards. Beales made selling my father’s house easy and stress-free for me.

I put my father’s house in Fareham up for sale as he had to move into a retirement home due to decreased mobility. I selected Beales as the Estate Agents based on their good local reputation. I wasn’t looking forward to the process as I live in Essex so everything had to be done remotely through Beales. However, they really did a good job from start to finish. The house sold within days as they already had buyers looking for exactly this sort of property. From then on it was plain sailing - they have someone called a ‘sales progressor’ whose job it is to make sure everything happens as quickly as possible. Their progressor, Katie Healey, was my main contact and living elsewhere, I was SO grateful to her as my go-to contact for everything right up to Completion day. I can recommend Beales - they are organised, professional and friendly.

Yes honesty is a must! We rented a property through Beals, Parkgate for 4 years. During our time we greatly improved the property for the landlord, new Lino, carpets re decorated etc. always communicated for permission to do so & what we got in return was no thanks, just a cock n’ bull story that the landlady wished to terminate our tenancy after 4 years to move her ailing, elderly mother into our rental. We now understand this was just a lie, of which Oliver Sourmenidis, the letting manager of Parkgate was complicit. I am telling you this in all honesty, something that our letting agents know nothing about!

The agent who showed us round for our viewings (Louise) was brilliant and it showed throughout our interactions with her. This is directed toward the portsmouth's north end brunch!The worst and the most scumbag people I had ever dealt with..... This is my months of honest experience and pure frustration dealing with beals.There are just too much to voice out here so I'll only give a few key examples here only.Me and my partner we're looking toforward to our new life relocating to portsmouth due to my new job and we approached beals north end for help with us looking for a new place to rent. This disrespecful person jasmin is the so called agent we're assigned to deal with. This unprofessional of a person literally lack soo much communication skill that soo many things were miscommunicated from the start...1. We were under the impression that the unit will be partly furnished. We were informed that the minimal amount of furniture will be left behind for us to use like just a sofa in the living room only. We have our own furniture to move in with but on the day we collect the key for checking. The place is pack full with furniture, including beds in bedroom and a dining table in livingroom just to name a few. This forced us to for-go our own furniture.... We called jasmin about this and she does not even sound like she cares at all on the phone. Just kept saying the owner does not want to take away the furniture....2. On the initial call, both party agreed that the owner does not mind with pets. But when comes to closing the deal, we got thrown with a curve ball saying the owner want a raise because we have a pet... This is utterly the most disgusting attitude towards animals and the worst level of communication... Because of this, we're are forced to pay more just because we have pets. The worst part is, we didnt end up bring our pet with us in the end due to the chaotic BS and drama we have had to deal with these scumbags. Causing soo much metal stress and depression to my partner because our pet cannot come with us....3. Issues with the house was initially reported early on during the day we moved in. We live there for roughly a year+. NONE of the issues reported ever got address or fixed.... To the point it is soo ridiculous that on the week we plan to move out, only the handyman came by to only access the things that require fixing.... How much lower can these stupid people go down to the bottom of the barrel regarding their communication and professionalism...At the end of the day when we moved out, we did send an email to the main beals email notifying them we are retuning the key on a set date. But some how jasmin amazingly able to missed the email again. Saying that she was not inform regarding us returning the keys. Thats the final draw, we are absolutely done with dealing with these useless and brainless people.I honestly dont know if this is just a problem with portsmouth north end brunch issues or if this is an issue for the wider beals company but beals management team, if you are sincerely listening and if you do have a genuine human heart. Please clean up your act, this is no way to treat customers like that. We have all the email conversation archived as proof of evidence if needed.And as for jasmin, lucy and that one old guy that work with them, SHAME on you all for your disgusting treatment towards us!!How about grow a heart and be kinder and fairer towards people for a chance. Try that for once in your life.

Beal’s Estate Agents came highly recommended by local contacts, and managed my late wife’s investment property for many years dealing with any problems most efficiently and promptly throughout. When the time came to sell, Emma Bedford was most helpful and professional. Lauren Marie Collins headed the search for a buyer and pursued this diligently, always keeping in touch throughout the (accompanied) viewings until a buyer was quickly found. Negotiations were expertly handled, eventually settling just below the asking price. Having some personal experience of property management, I have no hesitation in commending the team at Beals very strongly for their professional and friendly approach in both management and sales.
