We used Abbey properties to sell our local probate property. Mervyn’s valuation was not the highest but we felt it was an honest and the most realistic we had received. As a result we went with Abbey and haven’t regretted it. Mervyn advised us on the best time to put the house on the market rather than asap ( just before Christmas). When it did go on the market we quickly got viewings and a buyer. Through out the process Mervyn and Amy kept us informed of any developments and feedback from any viewings. We did have some issues with the sale and Mervyn went over and above to ensure the negotiations were settled with a satisfactory result for both us and the buyer. I would happily recommend Abbey properties and would definitely use them again should the need arise.

So glad we went with Abbey Properties to sell our house. We wanted to support local business and we were rewarded with excellent personalised service from a friendly and professional team. Estate agents can get a bad wrap, but Mervyn and his colleagues don't live up to the stereotype - they're personable and professional. We felt we got good advice from an agent with excellent local knowledge, who were able to advocate for us where necessary and treat all parties fairly. In order to get the property we wanted, we had to pause our sale for a while, but this caused no issues and meant we were able to achieve our dreams. Difficult property sold in super short time!

I tried to sell a one-of-a-kind property in Eynsham, a 5 bedroom converted Church with another local agent, and was forced to give up after no offers in over a year! Tried again with Abbey Properties. Mervyn suggested the right price and techniques. Five viewings in the first 2 weeks leading to an offer at the asking price. I should have used Abbey Properties in the first place! The whole transaction was completed efficiently and remotely, since I am living outside the country.
