Byron carried out the remortgaging of our property, which also involved paying off our Help to Buy Loan and taking out life/health related insurances. We could not recommend Byron more highly to anyone looking for a Mortgage and Protection Consultant! Throughout the whole process he has always gone above and beyond, taking the time to explain even the smallest detail. Byron has been the mortgage broker for myself and my sisters mortgage. We felt from our first conversation that he explained things in a way that we could understand, he talked us through the full process and the work he puts in to finding the best mortgage at the best time is evident. Tried ringing the Stratford branch and…

Tried ringing the Stratford branch and left multiple voicemails never got back to us. Rang another branch who we then booked a viewing for a property on Saturday 7th March at 12:15. We waited & no one showed up. Tried calling but could not get through. Have gone to find the property to make sure we were in the right place to then discover it has actually sold. Not sure why we had been booked in for a viewing or was not told that the property had been sold so the viewing was cancelled. Not the best customer service & would not recommend using them.

We had seen two mortgage advisors before Byron and we felt they weren't helpful at all and any questions we asked as first time buyers we felt we were made to feel stupid. We then had a meeting with Byron and he went above and beyond for us from the start and nothing was too much effort. We sold our house through them last year, they were OK, though we felt a bit like they didn't have our best interests at heart. We dealt with Jenna, and while she was pleasent enough, things didn't go particularly well. Firstly, she tried to charge us an extra fee (~£200) for our photos, despite RA Bennetts' fees being the highest in the area. We disputed this, and managed to get the fee dropped, which we were happy with as an outcome, but feel that for the sake of the transparency of the review that others should be made aware. It took a while to sell, despite their promises to sell quickly. After making us drop our price, we eventually sold, below the revised asking price. As the sale went on, Jenna got us to drop our price even further, "to maintain our buyer," but we felt like we were badgered to do so. This was particularly galling, as their fees were fixed, meaning we lost money, while they didn't! We felt that they were more interested in the buyer, than us, which isn't what you want from an Estate Agent. We had a lengthy problematic sale, which was partly down to us and partly due the poor housing stock in Evesham, with us pulling out of a few sales due to bad surveys and an unwillingness for sellers to negotiate - even though we had also dropped our own price to keep our own buyer, and ours wasn't even due to survey reasons. We also heard a troubling report from another agency in the area that Jenna hindered our offers to buy, by casting doubts on our seriousness as buyers, making any offers with other agents unobtainable. When we challenged this we were assured that this wasn't the case, but our trust had been completely lost. In an odd twist of fate, we ended up communicating with our buyer directly, cutting Jenna out of the conversation, and making the process a lot easier. Ultimately, due to feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place, having exhausted any avenues to buy successfully, and feeling like we were being blocked by both RA Bennett (though unsubstantiated) and by other agents, we moved out of the area completely. Mercifully, we were put into a situation where we didn't have to corroborate our position with RA Bennett to make a successful offer, thus eliminating Jenna, and RA Bennett from the equation, allowing us to move forward without hindrance. Personally, I would not use RA Bennett to sell a property again.

Evesham branch constantly sending me details of wrong type of houses, even though I have emailed them 6 times, spoken to them on the phone and unsubscribed from marketing, but still they send me wrong types of houses. I’ve been told branches are targeted to send so many emails, make so many calls etc a week, so basically they are just spamming their customer base. Ended up blocking their account to spam folder. Would suggest anyone looking to sell a house looks elsewhere, as buyers like me avoid them.

I won’t say which dump we had to deal with but they have to be the worst one, I have ever dealt with. Suffice to say they’ll do everything to get you to sign, and then after that, surprise surprise, flats not finished with essential work, then they state ‘well we don’t have to because you didn’t ask’ and then ‘well you’re signed now’ Also, they use questionable credit agencies to do checks as well that also ultimate people half way through applications to pay off debts that they are already paying, otherwise you can’t buy or rent. Genuinely couldn’t make this up! Absolutely shocking and not one f___ given by them. Audacity is the only word I’d use to describe them. Sadly this is that state of the UK now. No one cares at the top, so that filters down. Genuinely regret choosing them

We have a flat they we rent out that was vacated just before the Pandemic struck. As soon as was feasible Matthew Lewis was on the ball and a new tenant was found but unfortunately could not move in until the block of flats (it is a over 55's sheltered accommodation) would allow new tenants in. Matthew ensued that the new tenant was moved in with the minimum of delay once permission was given We were kept informed at all the stages of the transaction and Matthew was very professional throughout and is very personable. If i could i would give 0 starts. Was buying a house and they are highly manipulating they tell you that you have to use their solicitor and their morgage advisor because otherwise they wont sell you the house. Which is a scam dont believe them the seller has no say in what solicitors or morgage advisor you pick. They said the same lie to 2 other people I know because they try to push on getting their solicitors and they WILL scam you on the quote.
