My partner and I have been looking for a property to rent in London. We came across a property that we were really interested however it took a long time for us to hear a feedback from the Landlord and thought we wouldnt be getting the property. We were surprised when we received a call from them updating us and recommending another property that is to our liking. We didnt expect for them to be very proactive, helpful and really good communicators. We appreciate there help so much. We then have an interest to another property and went through the referencing process. We thought it was really tedious process but they were very supportive. When we had some questions they were really quick to pick up the phone and help us with our queries especially Jodie. She was a very lovely person. We then had to back out in renting the property due to some personal reasons. When we explained to them they were very understanding. They still supported us and continued to be good communicators. Over all our experience to the team was very pleasant. Kuddos to Jodie, Joana and Luisa who were very helpful and are very lovely people.

We used Barkingside Douglas Allen to find our home. Rumel Miah was the estate agent that helped us. He is absolutely fantastic at his job. We gave him an extremley specific criteria for the house we were looking for. He always kept our criteria in mind when supporting us with our search. He was easy to reach and always made time for us and listened to our concerns. I highly recommend his services and will definately be utilising Rumel's services again.

The reason I dropped in at the Branch was I was very impressed by the great customer service I received 4 years ago when I purcahsed my first property. I was very fortunate enought to run into Maureen Grey and Hassan Anwar yet again and as expected they were very patient with me and we went thorugh various options how to handle a sale and purchase of a suitable property. Douglas Allen were amazing with helping us sell our house. We were on the market for a little while with someone else when we reached out to them; Liam, Jack, Denise and the team really made the process seamless from correct valuations, using the online portal for updates and buyers positions etc (really nice touch). Couldn't have asked for more!! Jack not only found our buyer in super quick time, he also played a key role in getting us to the point of exchanging. Unfortunately there were a few complications within the chain but Jack and Denise went over and above to ensure we got there. We procured a number of quotes before settling with Douglas Allen and are very pleased we did, my wife and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. You may be able to find a cheaper agent but I very much doubt they could match the level of service Jack and Denise extended to us. Very impressed

Great customer service. Initially, we had doubts engaging Douglas Allen due to a negative past experience. But we were so pleasantly surprised when we met and got to know Jack when undertaking our property search. Jack is very professional, he took the time to listen to the needs of the family and therefore was able to identify the right properties. Jack is knowledgeable about the properties and areas we looked at, which was very helpful to us as some of the areas we visited were new to us. Did his job with grace and humility - never pushy and nothing was too much of a problem - we tested his patience a few times! Jack was so good at knowing what we would like, it made things so easy and meant we did not have wasted journeys (handy when with children and elderly relative in tow) - we really didn’t want to deal with anyone else. Incompetent! The sale of my property was poorly handled from the moment I recieved an offer. The managing director of the branch was extremely unpleasant to deal with and a bully. The sales progressor had no idea what was going on at any stage of the transaction regularly giving me wrong information. There was no duty of care for my best interests. Avoid them at all costs.

Rosalie Kurton... a true Super Agent!

How do you describe the effort of a single individual in a few words? I cannot emphasise the gratitude that I have for Rosalie Kurton. She is the SINGLE reason that I am a homeowner today. Unfortunately, Douglas Allen and my solicitor J.S LAW have failed to keep me well informed or up-to-date over the past few months and in particular the last two weeks of my purchase. Rosalie however, was the ONLY person who ALWAYS answered my calls and replied to my e-mails. She would call my solicitor and my local branch regularly to keep escalating my queries on my behalf. Where others failed to maintain professionalism and lacked enthusiasm, Rosalie was able to keep both her and my head above the water at all times. On occasions, I had almost given up on the sale and decided to take my custom elsewhere. It was her persistence and hard-working ethic that led to the completion of this purchase. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and your help is highly appreciated. I am still struggling to answer the question: How do you thank someone who helps you buy your home?

Woodford Branch - Steve and your team = thank you

We bought our house 8 yrs ago from Douglas Allen in Woodford and had such great service that we definitely wanted to use them again to sell this time around. Steve and his team at the Woodford branch are brilliant. Douglas Allen in East Ham fraudulent sale on 8 Victoria Avenue and 41 Burges road

Douglas Allen in East Ham is terrible. Member of staff Hassan wasted my 6 months and begged me to give him multiple online false reviews. 41 burgers road I made an offer of 500k but he said vendor refused. After he has checked my deposit funds and my mortgage offer was ready but he still forced me to use he’s broker Mr Faisal Noor in East Ham branch. He made me resubmit all my documents with he’s broker made me waste all that time. I thought to my self long as I get the property 41 Burges road for 500k Ill go threw the hassle again and let the East Ham branch make a bit of money on mortgage sale. But after all that hard work Hassan sells the property 41 burges road for 500k to some one els on normal mortgage sale. I strongly believe he has sold the property to he’s close person. Then he has promised me I’m on the priority list in East Ham branch soon as a property comes in my requirement he will be in touch. But again another property came on the market 8 Victoria Avenue which the property is worth 500k but he sells this property not on cash not on auction but again on a normal mortgage sale under value for 415k to he’s family member. That property was never advertised to public only time he put it up in right move wen it was marked sold. So he has fraudulently stole 85k of this property. They have all of my documents in file this property should’ve been sold to me after what he done on the sale on 41 burges road. Wen I asked him all this he didn’t like it. So I’m taking them to court. 8 Victoria Avenue should’ve been sold to me. Guys be careful of this Douglas Allen East Ham branch they take customer all documentation of funds and then ignore and try’s to sell the rubbish property. All the good profitable ones they sell it to there friends and family.

Amazing Team at East Ham...

I cannot recommend enough the great team at the East Ham branch of Douglas Allen. We were the buyers when using Douglas Allen. All too often in London, the agent only works hard for the seller, not in our case. Maureen and the team worked tirelessly through what was a complicated and tricky sale. There were many occasions where Maureen would be working late into the night and during her days off to ensure that the sale stayed on track. Throughout our journey buying a property, we came into contact with a lot of agents in East London. None were as friendly and professional as Maureen and the team. They all went above and beyond and totally exceeded my expectations.

What a kind and helpful man Nasir at Douglas Allen East Ham is

Although I'm not planning any immediate move, I'm nevertheless interested in keeping track of conditions in East Ham and Beckton, the areas I'm most likely to return to. I therefore decided to call a few of the local estate agents to try and get a general flavour of the current situation.The first three or four agents I spoke to were polite enough, it's true, but it soon became pretty obvious that they weren't really interested in speaking to someone who only MIGHT be coming back to East Ham to live. Then I discovered Nasir at Douglas Allen. His attitude was entirely different. The fact that I was calling about what's only a possible future move seemed not to be of any great importance to him. Not only was he happy to discuss the situation at the moment, but he actually went as far as inviting me to phone him for updates as often as I needed them.If and when I do decide to launch my move back to East London, Nasir is who I'll be calling first, that's for sure!

Although DA didn’t sell our house in the end, their service was fantastic. Manager Liam was enthusiastic, reassuring and happy to be contacted at any time if we had a query. Jack & Lisa who were dealing with the sale both showed genuine interest in selling the property and made sure they knew about the house so they were able to pass this on to potential purchasers. Their virtual tour and photos are amazing and all done with minimum fuss. I would definitely recommend using this agent.

I have recently dealt with Maureen, Hassan and Nasir from the East ham branch. In my experience I have found them to be very friendly, honest and transparent in all our interactions. From the accompanied viewings, to the follow up, they took care and time to diligently capture and address my specific needs.
