Positive Experience - Outstanding Sales Progressor

I bought with them and have now sold with them 4 years later and Natasha has been incredible. She’s kept me sane through my stressful moments and has been on the ball throughout! I’m not sure I’d have got through it without her and she is an absolute asset and Douglas Allen are very lucky to have her on their team! Whatever she is paid, she needs a pay rise! 🤣 Jokes (or not even joking) aside, she is honestly incredible!

My partner and I have been looking for a property to rent in London. We came across a property that we were really interested however it took a long time for us to hear a feedback from the Landlord and thought we wouldnt be getting the property. We were surprised when we received a call from them updating us and recommending another property that is to our liking. We didnt expect for them to be very proactive, helpful and really good communicators. We appreciate there help so much. We then have an interest to another property and went through the referencing process. We thought it was really tedious process but they were very supportive. When we had some questions they were really quick to pick up the phone and help us with our queries especially Jodie. She was a very lovely person. We then had to back out in renting the property due to some personal reasons. When we explained to them they were very understanding. They still supported us and continued to be good communicators. Over all our experience to the team was very pleasant. Kuddos to Jodie, Joana and Luisa who were very helpful and are very lovely people.

Thank you to Aseena, Caroline & Morgan for all their help in finding me my first home, from start to finish they’ve been so supportive and very informative and experienced. Even after speaking to Morgan the financial guy I’ve realised not all mortgage advisors are the same so I’d definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. He also kept me informed what was coming to the market and I was even able to view & offer on a property before it went on Rightmove after struggling to find for 3 months. I am so grateful to them all so thank you so much!

We gave him an extremley specific criteria for the house we were looking for. He always kept our criteria in mind when supporting us with our search. We came to Douglas Allen looking for advice about a valuation on our house with the view to re- mortgage. Anthony was our first point of contact and offered advice on how we should proceed. He was really approachable and did not overwhelm us with information. Anthony introduced us to Samuel, the mortgage adviser on site. Again, we felt at ease and were given relevant advice and support as we proceeded with our remortgage application. Samuel has made himself available to us when we have needed information or have had any concerns and we are delighted to have received our remortgage . My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Danny Lonergan whilst viewing our new home to be, a third time. Danny was very knowledgeable regarding the property and helped reassure us that we were doing the right thing. Entirely incompetent and undeserving of even one star. Poorly informed agents who could be heard on ring cam providing inaccurate information about our property (eg. It doesn’t have a garden despite being next to our garden mentioned and photographed on rightmove listing). We formally came off the market with them in March and yet despite multiple phone calls and email reminding are still being shown as an active listing on rightmove, which is now preventing us going back on the market with an agency capable of selling our property. Selling a place is never easy but with Douglas Allen they appear to be making it intentionally difficult.

The reason I dropped in at the Branch was I was very impressed by the great customer service I received 4 years ago when I purcahsed my first property. Incompetent! The sale of my property was poorly handled from the moment I recieved an offer. The managing director of the branch was extremely unpleasant to deal with and a bully. The sales progressor had no idea what was going on at any stage of the transaction regularly giving me wrong information. There was no duty of care for my best interests. Avoid them at all costs.

Rosalie Kurton... a true Super Agent!

How do you describe the effort of a single individual in a few words? I cannot emphasise the gratitude that I have for Rosalie Kurton. She is the SINGLE reason that I am a homeowner today. Unfortunately, Douglas Allen and my solicitor J.S LAW have failed to keep me well informed or up-to-date over the past few months and in particular the last two weeks of my purchase. Rosalie however, was the ONLY person who ALWAYS answered my calls and replied to my e-mails. She would call my solicitor and my local branch regularly to keep escalating my queries on my behalf. Where others failed to maintain professionalism and lacked enthusiasm, Rosalie was able to keep both her and my head above the water at all times. On occasions, I had almost given up on the sale and decided to take my custom elsewhere. It was her persistence and hard-working ethic that led to the completion of this purchase. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and your help is highly appreciated. I am still struggling to answer the question: How do you thank someone who helps you buy your home?

We bought our house 8 yrs ago from Douglas Allen in Woodford and had such great service that we definitely wanted to use them again to sell this time around.
