She was efficient and professional, as one would expect, but more than that, she was always approachable and has such a friendly demeanour that the sometimes daunting process was made much more straightforward. Having changed to Savills Esher, after a dire 6 months of stress and uncertainty with an independent local agent, it was such a different experience. We bought our new house through Savills Esher, Karl Matier was our contact there. Had it not been for him our purchase would never have gone through. Our agent was completely useless and we were in a difficult chain of 6 purchasers/buyers. Karl seemed to be doing the work of the other agents by coordinating things, suggesting solutions and with a tenacious approach to getting the deal done. Emily Hancock was a fantastic agent as we searched for our rental. We were searching from Australia and Emily was the perfect agent balancing regular communication with a non pushy style that lead to great trust and transparency building between us. We recently relocated from Thames Ditton to the US and moved out of our house which the Savills office in Esher managed. Mandy was our property manager for the last year of our tenancy. She did a fantastic job handing any issues that came up and worked with the landlord to get as many areas addressed as possible (he didn’t want to fix much). Mandy also helped us a great deal with the end of tenancy which was way more involved than we ever expected. We weren’t happy with our first two property managers (we lived in the house for 3 years), but Mandy helped us forget those challenges. The leasing sales team were also very nice and appreciative of us while they showed the home to other perspective clients. One other shout out to Charlotte who helped during our initial move-in! We recently completed on our dream house, which we saw for the first time back in June after Hannah called me to tell me she had found the perfect property for us. Having spent 6 months searching, spending endless Saturdays looking at houses, offering on 5 other properties, each time going to best bids, with multiple different agents, I wasn’t convinced it was going to be the one - particular as no particulars were available to look at.
