We contacted Michelle Hawthorne at the Chadwell Heath branch as we became responsible for selling a local property although we live in Kent. Michelle visited us and advised about the presentation and the pricing to enable us to get a wide buyer response. Regular contact with Michelle gave us confidence to leave the sale in the hands of the branch. Just browsing through the reviews of Douglas Allen, Find it very strange indeed that a review by R GOODYEAR has been reported by Douglas Allen and removed because it contains the name of a staff member. Fair enough if they are the rules, however I suspect some foul play and skulduggery going on here, as the other reviews also name staff members. So if its a review that Douglas Allen finds pleasing, it is allowed to remain, and if it is not to their liking, they have it removed. Seems a bit unfair unless anyone can respond with a valid reason as to why this is, I think I will treat Douglas Allen with a great deal of suspicion. Douglas Allen, I guess is a name so if the rules are followed, then this review wont last long either.

Douglas Allen found us our first home. 2 years on and we needed to get a bigger property and so they were our first choice to sell with. We sold within a month and then they found us something too so I couldn't be happier with them. Before we exchanged contracts there were major problems with the chain and we were about to give up. Steve got involved and was making lots of calls and came up with a solution that meant we moved for Christmas so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We recently sold our house through Douglas Allen, and we couldn't be happier with the service.The person who's drawn us to Douglas Allen was Paul. The most impressive thing with him is he is so understanding, and that he seems always naturally stand in others' shoes when he answers questions, for example, there are a few times, he will answer the questions before they are asked. In my opinion it is a gift, and this impression was why we decided to list with Douglas Allen.The whole process was not incidence-free (as many other property transactions I suppose), especially it was right in the middle of referendum that led to Brexit. However, everyone in the office that I encountered, mainly Paul, Trevor, & Natasha remained calm, and they always tried their best to answer questions and solve our problems. I don't want to move house ever again (too much stuff!!), but if I ever come to the point of buying or selling again, I will definitely contact Douglas Allen first.

I am thinking of moving to woodford green. Last thursday i was looking at was on offer in the windows of various estate agents on the high street after eating in a local restaurant. It was after 8pm so all estate agents were closed accept Douglas Allen. Andy who is a sales advisor there was just leaving and asked if he could help. I explained i am not familiar with the area so was not sure where i needed to look. To my surprise he offered to give me a fast tour of the area in his car which i accepted when he insisted it was no bother. The fast tour took me everywhere in the area with useful information about every place. He then dropped me off at the station 45 minutes later - only then did i find out he was then driving down to Hastings. Amazing. I'm not sure if I will end up buying through Douglas Allen, but i want to. I will definitely want to sell with them when the time comes! Regards,Dee

I don't live in London anymore however my elderly aunt does, the house is far to big for her to upkeep at her time of life so I arranged for three estate agents to come and give us a valuation so we would know her options. The first two came and they was very similar and what I would call "typical estate agents" the last agent was James from your E4 branch who is an absolute credit to your company! He saw straight away that my aunt was emotional and he spent the first 20 minutes telling her how him and his team would help her and guide her all the way through, he brought brochures of retirement property that they had sold recently and he genuinely cared. His local knowledge even impressed my aunt who was born in Chingford. I myself work in a job where customer service is vital and he was very impressive, my aunt loved him and when the family have decided what we are going to do there will be no question that we will appoint him.
