Hasan, the best sales advisor in London

Last week, I called into the office with regards to a flat I found. A very friendly young man whom goes by the name of Hasan picked up the phone. He informed me that the specific property I was interested in was not suitable as it had a short lease. Nevertheless, he said he would keep his eyes open for me. I did not take it serious as all agents say that. To my biggest surprise hasan proved to be an agent of his word and did extensive research for me. Hasan's service so far has been beyond excellent. He treats his clients as friends and not just as clients. I was super impressed by his market knowledge and professionalism. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I would also like to thank peter arrowsmith in hornchurch branch.We wasted a few months with a previous agent, very dissapoiting low viewers over the months. Then I changed to use Douglas Alan and another agent. My property had only 2 days of viewers then sold! So peter came along, very friendly, laid back, understanding, positive and professional. Each time I contacted him or had questions, he was very clear and helpful. People like him really does make a difference, not too serious, pressurised or being competitive, so more relaxed and trustworthy.In the end of the completion day, I was running so late 4pm to hand the keys over to him and he did not stress, complain or rush me at all, which definitely was a bonus!I really appreciate and very glad we had chosen Douglas Alan. If only we had chosen them in the first place..Great team work to all staff!

A big thank you to Douglas Allen, Epping branch who helped us sell our house very quickly.The team at this branch were excellent. Matthew, the Branch Manager, was extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning of the process through to the end. We were always kept in the loop and felt we were in safe hands. I would also like to mention Kate because at one point our house sale fell through and she called and delivered the news in a very sensitive, kind way and we needn’t of worried as we had another offer within days!I would definitely recommend this branch as I found the whole process stress free and straight forward.

Well worth that little bit more!

We are both 71 yrs old and were looking to buy and sell a house. By chance we walked into Douglas Allen's Chingford office. We had been told they might be a bit more expensive, but gave a good service. We were welcomed by a very friendly bunch of people who quickly put us at ease. They efficiently run through our options, and we settled for the one that best met our requirements. We are so pleased we choose this office, the service has been excellent from the start and the whole way through. The team are - Jake on front desk, courteous, polite, well dressed and a big smile, Jessica (Sales) super efficient, knowledgeable, informative, and very sympathetic to our needs, Natasha (co-ordinator & liaison) always on the ball, kept all parties well informed, she especially impressed the couple who's house we were buying. Then there's James (Branch Manager) he kept his whole excellent team together, lighten the mood and helped us through a few sticky moments.Thank you for your much appreciated service. we would recommend you anytime to anyone who needs that little bit extra.

Pleaseantly surprised

Once I found the house I liked, I exchanged in just over a month - which was so quick it took me by surprise. Douglas Allen provided me with a lovely staff member called Tanya Keene to act as a "go between" my solicitors and my sellers solicitors. She was polite, efficient, always answered calls and kept things moving - I rarely needed to chase anything, it was all done for me. I found this process was far less stressful than I expected but that was mainly down to the professionalism of Tanya.

I had 3 good offers after just 1 open house day and they have all kept me updated throughout the process. Leslie Carter provided me with the original, very realistic, quote, Michelle helped me to complete forms and offered reassurance when needed, Chelsey and Gizem liaised with my buyer and me until completion. We are first time buyers. Our agent Katie, truly understood exactly what we wanted for our first home. So much so,after only three viewings, we put an offer on the first house we ever saw! It was perfect for us. After being told by colleagues and friends, what a nightmare buying a house is. That it would be worst than planning for a wedding! We were expecting the worst but Katie, Matt and Tania all helped for a smooth process. As well as, professionally answering any (of the many) questions we had. Teamwork pays

In spite of the very protracted process prolonged by third parties I have been supported throughout by Douglas Allen. In particular by Heather and Trish in arranging a large number of viewings by organizing and conducting open house days and Janine in energetically coordinating to completion all the elements in the chain to finally arrive at "my happy". I don't think this could have been achieved by a single operator as painlessly to me as has been the case engaging Douglas Allen with a supporting team of experienced and efficient professionals. Very proactive...very happy with the sale achieved...recommended and will definitely use again

After several Agent conversations and valuations we went for Douglas Allen (Epping Branch) to sell our two bed flat. I'm very glad we did. Whilst there were other cheaper agents, the service Douglas Allen provided (through their manager, Mathew Gilbert) was very proactive and professional throughout the process. We chose an open house approach to sell in Feb 2017. After only several weeks of marketing the day went really well. We received approx 14 offers from 23 viewings, all offers over the asking price. Following best and final offers we accepted an offer that was 10% over the asking price! I would definitely use them again to sell my house.

Great service provided from start to finish. Communication was key to us and they put us at ease every step of the way with regularly updates on the performance of the property. At times we became frustrated and stressed as anyone selling a house would be. However, we were put at ease by Chelsey our Sales progressor who did everything in her power to make our experience as stress free as possible. I would defiantly recommend them to others and would use again in the future.

Had a property on the market with a internet agent and I felt very uneasy having to handle everything myself, I soon realised that this was not for me as I might of well just put it in the internet myself so I decided to go to a professional l. After meeting James I decided this was the route I wanted to take and thank god I did, as at times my sale had issues and between James and Natasha they managed to keep the stress to a minimum for me whilst saving me a lot of money in the process. Rude, sexist, unprofessional!!!

We sold our flat with Doulas Allen in January 2017, we were lured in by their flashy brochure detailing their extensive client base and the fact that we were promised a quick sale as they had buyers lined up for our kind of property. Sadly this is where the service ended. Open days took place where only 2 or 3 clients attended and the feedback that we were promised on all appointments never materialised. When I asked for further information one estate agent 10 years my junior asked if I'd like my husband there as there was a lot of information to take in, whilst on another occasion I was asked if I needed percentages explaining to me in simple terms (no thank you!). After having to continually chase for feedback on viewings they eventually presented a buyer who was interested yet again I had to chase them to follow up with him, finally we had an offer on the table but yet again it seemed like the promises of working for us ended. Throughout the sale negotiations our mortgage progressor seemed to be more of a hinderance than a help simply forwarding mails from one person to the other, he again was rude & unhelpful and needed constant chasing. At one point the mortgage progressor advised that he hadn't mentioned to our buyer to get a survey as it might hold up the process, we felt this to be underhand and unprofessional as we were of course happy that they buyer carry out a survey. Eventually a survey was carried out one week prior to exchange holding up the process further. The final straw came when we handed over the fees for this so called service and not a single person from Douglas Allen even bothered to notify us that the sale of our property had gone through or thank us for our business. I have tried to contact Douglas Allen on numerous occasions to ask for their comment on this matter to no avail again confirming just how unprofessional they really are. They have never asked me to leave a review which again hints at the fact that they are contacting those where all went well to leave reviews to skew their ratings

Tremendous thank you to the guys at chigwell douglas for selling my home they did a splendid job. Tricia, robin and jordan were all great the whole way through and I'm so glad i went with them. I was a bit nervous at first with all the viewings and what not but seeing trish and jordan run those open houses made me feel like i was in safe. They clearly done a good job. And even once it was sold robin and tanya kept me up to date with what was happening even outside of office hours which was great for me because I'm a bit of a workaholic. Thanks guys :)
