Purchase and sale

We sold and purchased a property via Equity, Enfield town. Overall the experience was really good. There was some miscommunication on a couple of things; one being I asked not to have a ‘for sale’ board outside my property as I didn’t want the neighbours knowing we were on the market. This was honoured but after we accepted an offer our neighbours received a leaflet through their door confirming our property had been sold. This was disappointing. The other matter was due to change of staff and was cleared up by Darren in the progression team. Darren was fantastic to work with, provided regular updates and even when things weren’t going well in the chain, always answered my calls and provided guidance. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I bought a house through Equity, the team were fantastic in helping me secure the house and assisting my seller with their onward purchase (thanks Demetri). I cannot recommend Equity enough as Darren Nelson, the progressor, is exceptional. Darren kept me sane through a long and complicated sale (absolutely nothing to do with Equity), he was tenacious in ensuring the chain kept moving, he kept me up to date with all developments and was unfailingly patient the whole way through. I would highly recommend Equity to friends and family.

There are estate agents… and then there’s Arturo with Equity - the man, the myth, the maestro of the market. When I first met him, I expected the usual spiel: “great location, lots of interest, we’ll be in touch.” What I got instead was a verbal ballet of market knowledge and charm so smooth I half expected him to sell me back my own house. Arturo doesn’t sell property, he orchestrates it. The man could negotiate peace treaties before lunch and still have time to stage manage a viewing with mood lighting and the perfect playlist. Matthew from Equity estate agents came and valued my property in May. I had to wait for 9 days before they can act as my new sole agent. I had my home on the market since September 2023 with another estate agent never sold my home. As data protection I will not add the the estate agent company's name, When the contract finished end of May 2024 icontacted Equity estate agents. gave them the go ahead as the sole agent. 1st week of June 2024 Matthew called me and told that he had a potential buyer. The client came and viewed my property. The very next day. I had a call from Darren takes over and looks after the sale. When he called me and told me about the clients offer I accepted it. Although there were complications on the way while the buyer did over budget. It took a while for them to come up with the funds. Darren at Equity told me to have faith with him ( Although it was no fault of his own or Equity estate agents) It was the buyers it took a while to exchange and complete.Darren was amazing and kept me always informed. Hand on heart Equity will sell you your property they are very friendly and professional. Keep up the good work Darren & Matthew making my new dream home come true.

I actually was recommended Equity through Get Agent. They were my wildcard valuation because most homes in our area are covered by two other agents.
