GoogleWe had a very positive experience with Ely's WHB. The whole team has been supportive and easy to communicate with, which was perfect for us as first-time buyers. The sales negotiator showing us various properties, Adam Twiddy, was polite and assisted us continually through this process.

GoogleI am/was a first time buyer and obtained my mortgage with the help of the broker (Giovanni) at William H Brown. They were excellent and helped me understand my options and guided me every step of the way through getting the mortgage offer and through the house buying process in general to the point where I am nearly ready to exchange. I'd recommend their services to anyone, as they are friendly, helpful and straightforward.

GoogleBought the house 14 years ago with help of WHB, and sold it through WHB! They have been fantastic, advising on the right price and adjusting the pricing strategy very effectively. WHB staff went out of their way to accommodate numerous viewings and sold the house for the right price and in good time.

GoogleI used WHB in Ely to sell me flat. The process of marketing and selling the flat was smooth. They were in constant contact giving regular updates. Garry (who has since left) was fantastic in formalising the offer. As we approached completion, getting in contact became increasingly difficult. I tried calling the day before and the day of completion so I could find out when I needed to be out of the property. I got to 1pm without a call back and while loading my final items we were confronted by an irate man who’s daughter purchased my flat. This was just before the funds were released. The man was hurrying us out, even taking to throwing my possessions out of the flat. He said we should have been out long ago, however I was never given a time. We moved my things out as fast as possible of course. While loading, they were informed that funds had cleared and completion had taken place. Thereafter, the flat was no longer mine, so the man became far more insufferable. The point of this ordeal is that if the agents had contacted me or answered the phone, we could have avoided this unpleasant situation which dampened the mood of what should be an exciting day. The only contact I received on the day was an email from the branch manager at half 1 asking roughly when I will deliver the keys. It would have been far more pragmatic to pick up the phone. This contrasts to the proactive approach my sellers agents took during the process. When we come to sell next we will certainly use the sellers agents rather than William H Brown.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleAll the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our mortgage advisor was extremely helpful and professional and explained everything and our options. Everything went smoothly and was sorted out in no time. Would definitely recommend and use again
