I got my new house of Anwel

I got my new house of Anwel. Sale s promise everything you can not do out till you have sent money.The final finished is very poor standard in decorating window are cracked sills no support under front door bends garden not done gaps under fence not been cleaned blobs of cement everywhere in kitchen and and hallway silicone is very poor not constant.Windows missing but of side s and bodged silicon trying hide mistakes. The garage joint s on skirting is shocking standards a 12 year kid could done better patio’s doors expanding foam and plastic gaps fillers not cleaned outside I could go on all day for £400k disappointed be beyond believe

Exceptional Service!!!

Lee Ashworth has visited my property today to re-fit the bath panel after work has been done underneath with the taps. I cannot rate his service higher. The efficiency was fantastic and my bathroom now looks perfect again! Lee even went above and beyond by correcting an issue (I myself had not noticed as it had been the case since completion) with the front door lock along with replacing the security chain that was snapped. As a woman living alone especially, I cannot put into words how beyond great full I am for the extra level of care from Lee. “Thank you” honestly doesn’t seem enough!

Lee Ashworth - Excellent Customer Service Technician

Lee Ashworth came out to assess our back door which has been an issue for some time, he advised that I needed a new one and ordered it there and then. As he was leaving the front door he said he noticed the lock wasn’t working and that it needed sealant to which he proceeded to take time out of his busy day to fix the front door which turned out to be a bigger job than he expected. For me this was customer service at its very best and I really appreciate Lee taking the time to notice other areas that needed attention! Excellent Technician who put the customer first.

Horrendous customer service and home is unfinished

Bought our house 6 weeks ago.The standard of finish is poor throughout, appliances are not as stated on the specification when we bought the house. Cracked window frames, garage not finished. Exterior painting not done, radiators leaking. Cracks in tiles, bathroom sealant loose. The list of issues is endless. No timescales as to when we can expect things to be completed. Now being told my garden will not be completed until the scaffolding In the rear property comes down - again no indication when this will be and I have 2 young children, both with disabilities that will have nowhere to play come spring… Emails are ignored and when you question things the responses are appalling. Both me and my husband have taken time off to wait in for trade to come and they haven’t arrived - no apologies from site just simply told “we can’t drag them there”.The whole experience has been completely stressful from moving in to now and already we’re exhausted trying to sort things out. This should have been a time to celebrate and it’s been anything but. Communication is abysmal. It shouldn’t be this hard to have your home finished to the quality that was promised.I mean there is felt hanging off my porch still!… So many other properties on our site with ongoing problems too. Wish I’d researched better before buying. I really hope that this can be turned around. Would love to leave a better review in future, but right now I feel so deflated with this whole situation.

We’ve been in our new home a few months on The Fairways now and are delighted with it. Few minor snags have now all been resolved and we are very happy and settled in our brand new home. Good work from Rich and Lee to fix the floorboards

Great work from Rich and Lee to fix the squeaky floorboards in our main bedroom, hallway, stairs and second bedroom over multiple appointments. The only issue is getting them booked in with the customer care as the wait time is multiple months and even though it was ongoing this was not prioritised. From start to finish the job took 5 months as they had to come back four times but we couldn’t get all appointments over a few months.

Positive Experience at Lawrence Gardens, Barton Preston

We moved into our beautiful new home in September this year. Debbie the Sales Adviser could not have been more helpful during the process. We felt we could trust her to have our interests at heart. She was open and honest about the sometimes bumpy road of settling on a completion date. We also met Ian the Site Manager at this stage and we were impressed by his professionalism and ‘can do’ attitude. He gives confidence in the manner by which he organises the many and varied contractors on site which is no easy task. He also went the extra mile on an issue which was important to us and which we appreciated.Oliver (new Site Manager) and Pete (Assistant Site Manager) are also very approachable and easy to deal with. They have reduced our initial list of 32 snags to around 10 outstanding at the time of writing and we trust that these will all be resolved early in 2023.Our experience with Anwyl Homes so far, has been positive and we have no hesitation in recommending the company to prospective buyers.

Anwyl have gone above and beyond for us at Plot 72 Priory Gardens! Sam & Steph you have both been amazing and are a credit to Anwyl!I’ve had tradesman in doing other work in the house and also have family & friends who are tradesman & every single one has pointed out the high quality of the build - which they rarely see at new builds! We were very close to losing the home due to government changes but Anwyl pulled out all the stops to avoid this from happening - I will always be thankful for this!The builders and workmen have all been great, they have worked their socks off for us, we raised a few minor issues and all have been worked on - they even brought us a skip round when they noticed our garage was full of rubbish from moving in!Again, thank you to everyone at Anwyl for being so patient with us and giving us such a positive experience, I will be recommending you to all my friends and family!

He’s gone above and beyond to sort out snagging and has always been responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for head office and their processes.

Anwyl homes - The Oaks.

Our experience of purchasing a new build was smooth and very straightforward. From placing deposits down from step 1 all the way through till build completion and receiving the keys. Carol in the office kept me regularly updated step by step on the build process and was a great help when selecting the interior specifcation for the kitchen and bathroom. The build quality is excellent and the site teams 4 week check after completion shows their commitment to quality assurance. The Anwyl staff were all helpful and communicated to me throughout, as was the support with the solicitors. This made the whole process seemingless throughout. I highly recommend the Anwyl team and especially the staff at the Oaks office!
