A good experience with all the…

A good experience with all the approachable and professional staff from start to finish, especially Michael Nevin who was our contact throughout. Nevin and Wells' unique selling point in our case was that we had a very difficult buyer (who happened to be our neighbours!) who were tricky interpersonally (kept changing their minds and the goalposts, even pulling out at the last minute because their interest had cooled which meant the chain collapsed and we lost a property and wasted legal fees) but also financially because when they came back on board, as our only buyers (sadly we did not have as many viewings as we thought we might get), they required loads of financial checks which caused lots of additional delays (and nearly caused another chain to collapse). Michael Nevin dealt very tactfully and yet, quite rightly, assertively with these tricky people, always remaining aware that the buyers were our adjoining neighbours. We got there in the end and we love our new house! Thank you.

Very unprofessional letting advisor, very rude and just hangs up the phone. I found a property which was big enough for a family of 4, however when I called up asking to view the property, he asked who was moving in and I told him 2 adults and 2 kids. He said landlord doesn't want kids. I mean what estate agents discriminate children, we were all kids before. We called back a couple hours later and he stated the property was gone after if was released same day. The Guy was extremely rude his tone of voice was harsh, his wording was offensive and he just hangs up the phone.

I can not recommend these guys highly enough, if I could give 10 stars I would. An amazing experience from start to finish, we some bumps along the way but Josh helped us hold our nerve when our chain started to come unstuck. Josh Taylor is one of the main reasons we’re sat here in our house in Egham. From Day 1, he kept us updated no matter how big or small. At stages, he was updating us hourly with the progress of our home. Nevin and Wells are responsive and have the customers interests as their first priority. Due to mortgage rates increasing, we were very close to losing our home but if it wasn’t for Josh making sure things kept moving along, we would be still living with our parents. Thank goodness! It was a pleasant experience dealing with David. After being on market for 12 weeks and being unsuccessful with another agent, I went to Nevin & Wells Residential to put my house on the market and they were very flexible in agreeing on a contract and within 4 weeks sold my property for more than the asking price. David made some good suggestions in rearranging the furniture around the house to create and showcase the space in the house and that seem to have worked for us. David and others in this agency have very good local knowledge. Thanks to the wonderful service we had, the move is now scheduled to be completed in few weeks time. Sold my house through Nevin & Wells, the reason I went with them, at the valuation, David stood out from the other estate agents by saying I'll sell yours within 4 week's sole agency, for the price I wanted, all the other estate agents wanted between 12 to 20 for sole agency the house was under offer within 3 weeks. We recently sold a house

We recently completed the sale of a house in England, while living overseas, and it was a successful and happy experience using Nevin & Wells. David Wells met us in early March on a visit near his Egham office and advised us on a price (other agents said the same), a lawyer (she was great and highly responsive), and warned us that transactions in the UK are slow and might not be completed until October (we got a buyer in mid-March and sale was completed mid-August). The agent who sold the house was Josh Taylor and Josh was great at advising us during negotiations, calming anxieties, and checking for things at the house for us.

A stand out estate agent who puts customer satisfaction first! Nevin and Wells worked some absolute magic with my partner's and my first house purchase. Being first time buyers we were very unaware about how the whole process worked. Luckily though, staff members such as Josh, sally and Mandy were at our beck and call answering all of our questions and telling us how and when to do everything. They cared about our satisfaction and even recommended us the house that we are happily living in on this very day. We purchased our home through Nevin and Wells and right from the very beginning, Paul was absolutely fantastic. He gave us brilliant advice around using a local solicitor, rather than a national company to get the sale through to beat the stamp duty (our estate agent handling the sale of our home in Portsmouth was really pushing us to use a national firm, no doubt with big commission for them). This proved to be brilliant advice and we were able to complete on 29th March, less than two months after making an offer. Every interaction was friendly, personable and just really felt like he was as excited and passionate about us moving as we were. Even post-sale, Paul made it super clear that if we needed any recommendations or local advice (we’re new to the area) then he’ll help as much as he can.
