Having been based outside the UK for many years, we were very grateful to Mary Pat McFarlane at VMH for all her help and guidance in selling our holiday home in Fife. She and Katrina Ross provided a highly professional, efficient and friendly service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to any other prospective sellers.

Fantastic service. Michelle Murdoch, Louise Hoban and the team managed the sale and purchase of our house move. They made the process as simple and stress free as possible. All the questions and concerns we had were answered and dealt with, with ease. The move went very smoothly with everything sorted and keys transferred in the morning of the move day which meant the rest of the move could be done quickly. Thanks for all of your help.

VMH have dealt with my uncles estate and from the legal team to the property team they have been brilliant. Each person I dealt with was very professional and made my life as easy as possible as executor by explaining every step simply for me. This was especially beneficial considering I live 250 miles away and have never had any experience with Scottish laws concerning wills or property.

I sold my flat and bought a new build through VMH. Stacey, Jeremy, Nichola, Fiona, Pauline and the wider team provided an excellent service throughout. They handled several unexpected third-party issues professionally and kept everything moving.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with VMH Solicitor when buying our first property. Their guidance and clear answers to all our questions made what could have been a daunting process incredibly smooth and stress-free. They were professional, responsive, and truly helped us navigate every step with ease. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and supportive solicitor, especially first-time buyers!

I was able to have an initial chat with Mary Pat on the phone about an issue related to transfer of title deeds. She gave well informed and astute advice plus case history in a local context, to help illustrate risks and benefits. I don’t think we’ll need to appoint VMH at this time, but based on this interaction I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in future for other relevant matters e.g. property sale. The other reviews on here provide a clear indication that VMH would be a reliable choice for good quality legal representation.

I viewed a property for sale with VMH. Put in a note of interest and an offer at homereport value for the property via my solicitor. This was rejected. Then when looking online a week later, I noticed the property had gone under offer with no communication of this to myself or my solicitor. On contacting VMh my solicitor was told their client didn't want to sell to an investor. Very poor communication, disrespectful to a potential buyer and will not be spending my time viewing properties for sale by vmh again.

VMH Solicitors were recommended to me by a friend and were fantastic, especially as a first time buyer. I mainly worked with Michelle and Louise and they were incredibly helpful from the very start of my buying process. They were always happy to answer any questions and were always clear and quick with communications, and made the process as smooth as possible. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I used VMH Solicitors' service 7 years ago to purchase my property and already at the time I had an excellent experience. Fast forward 7 years and I have recently had to clarify certain aspects of my property deeds so I contacted them again for advice. The additional assistance I have received from the well-established solicitors Agency has been simply outstanding despite the years passed since my initial purchase. Solicitor Chris Hocking in particular, offered a 5 star customer service while dealing with my query and provided me promptly with the information I required on my property deeds. I am very grateful to Chris and the rest of the team, needless to say I will use their service again in the future if needed.

Responsive and friendly firm, great from the get-go, and even after the first person dealing with my purchase had to take sick leave, the team handled the purchase from where it left off. Fairly-priced and I think a good firm to deal with when purchasing a property in Edinburgh 👍🏻 …

The property sales team at VMH have been really helpful in a not quite straightforward task. The communication and support I have received from Leanne, Connor, Michelle & team has been excellent to gain a sale of a unusual property in Fife whilst I am based hundreds of miles away. Thanks all for your tenacity team!

We used VMH Solicitor's help to put offers and secure the property recently. They have an excellent team and they will guide you through every single process. Especially thanks to Michelle and Louise who answered every silly question that was asked, providing suggestions along the way. The entire process was hassle free and VMH takes care of it's customers very well. They are less expensive, full value for money.

VMH have been my solicitors for a number of years now. During that time they have dealt with house purchases, sale of a commercial property and dealt with other issues for myself which required their services . I have always found the team to be extremely helpful and supportive along with good advice during sometimes difficult times.

I recently bought a flat with VMH Solicitors. I dealt with Michelle Murdoch and Louise Hoban and they guided me through what could have been a difficult process as seamlessly as possible. They are a great team and when one was unavailable the other was there to take calls and answer emails quickly. I liked their fixed price which gives you peace of mind knowing what your solicitors fees will be and is excellent value. They are both so easy to deal with and very professional. I will definitely use VMH Solicitors again when buying property and would thoroughly recommend them to others.

I’ve worked with many solicitors over the years but VMH is up there among the best. The sale of my property was absolutely seamless with a level of communication I’ve never experienced before - I knew exactly what was happening at each step of the way. 100% excellent!

Excellent service from initial engagement to completion - everything just as expected. Briiliant marketing of our property led to much interest (and subsequent viewings) and a quick sale. Following that, the completion of matters on the conveyancing side was hassle free and straight forward. Great service from all at VMH that we dealt with.

VMH were a great help. And a special thanks to Michelle Murdoch and Louise Hoban. I am an expat and this was the first time I had bought in the UK. Their advice was accurate and timely. They represented well my interests with the other party. Highly recommend and will use them again next time.

I called 3 solicitors after I had found a property I wanted to purchase in Edinburgh. One was a suggestion from a friend and two were strongly viewed ones from Google (VMH being one of them). I'm really glad with my decision to go with VMH - Louise and Michelle were both fantastic - quick, informative and helpful - not much more you could ask for. Thanks for your help.
