GoogleWe were delighted with the service we received from Paul Jnr and his team. The knowledge of the property market and the way it operates in Edinburgh was invaluable and gave us great comfort. The impression we had was that Clancys were a firm of estate agents with the added ability of undertaking the necessary legal work, rather than vice versa. It was obvious that their main priority was to give a personal and welcoming service to their clients. Their 'unflashiness' (in the sense that they operate in a fairly ordinary but adequate office without a 'shop window' and overblown reception area) spoke volumes to us. Informal efficiency is paramount and undoubtedly achieved.

After my offer was accepted, I was introduced to Jacob Ramsay, who took the time and went above and beyond, responding in detail whatever queries I might have had. He was enthusiastic and genuinely attentive to my needs as a first time buyer and a non-native speaker, simplifying the jargon of property law, as well as doing his best so that I get the property in the best possible state.
