GoogleHaving been a pasture I expected decent soil in my garden but no, I bought a fork with the intention of forking the whole garden to help break up the mass of clay but I cant get the fork into the ground because of the stones and rubble. Have only had to cut the grass 4 times this year and its now near October, do Bellway know what topsoil is.

GoogleI have rated one star as the costumer service was so horrible that it totally turned us from buying.
My husband and I booked an appointment to view the show homes. When we first arrived into the office, no greeting from the lady, no introduction. Very awkward situation so we decided to speak first.
We explained to the lady that we had an appointment for a viwing. So, she just literally, with her shoulders up,pointed to the direction of the show homes and told us to take a look.
We wondered off to this journey, the show homes were beautiful, well refined, beautifully designed spaces. We were very exited about this, we loved it we were ready to buy.
We returned to the office with loads of questions and clear excitement. Needless to say the lady was so unhelpful, not interested whatsoever on making the sale although we had made very clear our intention of buying. We were not there to waste our time neither hers. But, she was very stuck up, we had to pull words out of her mouth, she was rude, not making any eye contact and her body language was very clear she didn't want us there. She constantly kept going towards her desk trying to end the conversation, desperately trying to get back to her laptop.
She ,basically had made her decision that we were not the right fit of clientele although we had plenty money to spend. She just couldn't be bothered. Our 18months son was there as well, and I can totally understand that some people might not necessarily like children, especially like my son who likes to discover new places, and he was making it harder to keep the conversation going as we were constantly chasing him up in order for him not to touch everything in the office. I completely get that, but hey at the end of the day we were potential costumers and buyers. We were not being disrespectful or rude to her.
Unfortunately, just like other parents , on that day we could not leave our son with anybody and appointments were so hard and limited due to Covid restrictions. She just made us feel so uncomfortable, and unwanted.
I am not sorry to say that we were not happy neither comfortable to buy a new home and spend our life time savings from a business that presented itself so badly. It felt it was just a recepire for disaster.
I do get that everyone can have a bed day at work, completely understand but when you are working in this kind of business you are not only selling a dream but you are also messing with people that worked very hard to finally be able to afford their dream home.I was appalled by her behaviour and attitude.
The end of the line is that we bought our beautiful 4 bedroom home from Barratt, which is the development right next to Bellway, and we have not being disappointed a bit so far by their attentive costumer care.
