Dear Naomi We are sorry to receive your review. We really were trying to help you and ensure you did not place holding monies on a property if there was any chance you could fail referencing. Unfortunately, as you informed us that you may have an IVA, we advised you that we would need to speak to the landlord regarding your circumstance. It was the landlord’s decision to ask for 3 months rent upfront for added security, in case you did fail referencing under two separate sections. At this stage, you informed us you would speak with your partner about him moving with you, in which we explained what would be required from him. However, we did not hear back regarding this. You subsequently enquired about other properties, but we advised you that if you were to fail the referencing under both the income and credit score, payment upfront for any property would almost certainly be required.
