Tried to underhandedly go behind my agents back to the client telling them we are bad buyers and he should sell through them even though our offer had been accepted and put a for sale board up over our sold sign .. really really bad business practice

I rented from fox and son for 5 years and Senior letting branch manager was quick to responses and supporting when needed. Even after tendency ended there was good communication throughout. Senior Letting branch manager would explain and go into detail if needed more understanding. Team was always polite and welcoming when contacted. Never had any issues (Eastbourne fox and sons)

GoogleI asked to view a property last week and a viewing was booked. At the same time, I was asked to speak to their Morrgage Advisor which I agreed to despite having my mortgage all sorted. Today, I rang to cancel my mortgage appointment as I am busy. Then, I was asked to arrange different times for the mortgage appointment - bearing in mind I already have this all in place. When I said, let me view first and if I wish to proceed, I will speak to their Mortgage Advisor, I was told the property had an offer on it already. So why did you not tell me this at the start of the conversation? Am I only eligible to view if I also take a mortgage through your Mortgage Advisor? You seem keener on selling mortgage products than selling houses - what a pity! It will be one agent I will be avoiding in the future.

Was the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agents, Chris there mortgage advisor was incredible he went above and beyond what we could have ever expected and even after we’d payed for his services he was still pulling late days just to help us get everything we needed ready wether it was mortgage related or not he even worked as hard as possible to get us out mortgage rate fixed before they sky rocketed we could not be more grateful even after we had closed and everything was sorted he still helped us with our life insurance as there was a mistake we made while filling it out, Joanne was also a massive help even though we didn’t buy our house through then in the end she would always get right in touch with us as soon as she found a house she thought we’d like and even pulled an extra day or 2 so we could view the houses due to our busy schedules when the time comes to sell we will definitely be going to her

Are you sitting comfortably?… then I’ll begin…‘Twas twenty weeks before Christmas, plenty of time to move house, not a creature was stirring, especially not a Fox and sons Estate Agent !!!If you have been sitting down over the festive season with a glass of mulled wine, contemplating moving house, then take our advice…DO NOT USE FOX & SONS!!The whole branch lacked any form of professionalism, or competency. Lucas never returned our calls, only answering the phone if we dialled on a number he didn’t have registered to us. On one occasion, I stood outside the shop and although I could clearly see him, the girl that answered said he was out.For some reason the shop is always locked and the Keys were not always immediately to hand. We regularly had to visit the branch and insist they chase issues for us. Chasing only happens on a Wednesday apparently…really??? They are quite content to place all the blame on their equally incompetent’ in house’ solicitors DCLaw. After 19 weeks of abysmal service, we took matters into our own hands and dealt with the home owner himself to get the sale over the line. Due to several failures to exchange we had to exchange and complete on the same day. There was no one in the branch that day to deal with any issues and DClaw were uncontactable. Other estate agents from the rest of the chain got involved to try and save the day but in the end all 5 lorries were told to unpack. Yet still no communication from Fox & Sons… disgraceful!

I had many viewings of properties on the same day and i found that Connor was really different from that , he was patient enough to explain all the things. GoogleI was assisted by Toriah Wilson, could not of moved out without all of her help! Had been trying to move for over a year and with Toriah’s help was done within a month! Easy process and she explains everything so clearly! As a first time renter it’s all a bit confusing but she reassured me and answered any questions I had , even after moving she still replies and answers if I need anything. Was made to feel very comfortable and as I have been scammed before I was a bit cautious. Could not recommend fox and sons enough! Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leon Gullis of Fox and Sons Crewkerne over the past week. From the outset of our viewing he was friendly, professional and informative, highlighting features of the property and useful information about the locality and town. He gave us space and time to really look around and we never felt rushed. We made an offer that day and in the subsequent six days, whilst viewings were still ongoing, he kept us in touch with the progress of our offer. After our offer was accepted Leon was extremely helpful with all the initial processes including recommending conveyancing solicitors and offering to arrange a survey and searches. He has been delightful to deal with so far and we've no doubt he will do all he can to ensure our journey to completion goes smoothly. We would have no hesitation in giving Leon 10 out of 10! We would give 11 if we could!
