A bit late in writing this review, but definitely worth sharing my experience with Emslie & Tarrant. Darren was always prompt, responsive, and took every request seriously. Communication was smooth throughout, even when we had different views, I always felt listened to and respected.He also offered really helpful advice throughout, which made a real difference. Peter was equally great, always welcoming and professional, and made every visit to the property a positive experience. What really stood out is that, even as a buyer (not their client), I felt valued throughout. I didn’t pay them anything, but the level of service I received was outstanding. A reliable and trustworthy local team!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Emslie & Tarrant. From start to finish the whole process was professionally handled. A special mention has to go to Debbie and Peter, who were absolutely outstanding throughout. Debbie was incredibly supportive, always quick to respond, and kept me fully updated at every stage. Peter was honest, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything moved forward. Their combined effort made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and well handled. I would not recommend this firm. Darren was very difficult to deal with. He advised me the owner of the property I wanted would not allow a viewing as my property was not going on the market until 4 days after requested viewing. He eventually agreed to phone the owner who "Very surprisingly has left it up to us so we can agree to the viewing" I advised him I had forgotten to mention if pets were allowed. His response was "It would have helped if you'd mentioned this before. I'll have to phone the owner again now". I found that rude. He phoned to advise me they weren't. It was obvious he had no time for me and when I mentioned that to him. He said that he'd made two enquiries on my behalf so how could I say that! I always thought the role of an estate agent was exactly that and not just on behalf of the person who will pay their commission but to give potential buyers clarity and courtesy. I am delighted the property was not suitable for me and am certainly not interested in buying anything from Darren. Luckily, other estate agents are available.

I am just about to complete on a purchase and want to share what a brilliant experience it has been working with Peter Brazier at the Meads office of Emslie & Tarrant. Peter is genuine, impartial, and yet full of information and guidance, which for an agent in my experience are scarce qualities, whether viewing, selling or purchasing. He cares for both parties and has even been popping into the flat to put the bin out for the current owner who is away!. I hope to be able to work with Emslie's help and guidance in the future!

Darren and the team were incredibly helpful during our sale, keeping us informed at all times and helping to chase when needed. Our chain failed twice due to no fault of ours or E&T, and they managed to get it sorted quickly and with minimal impact.
