GoogleBeen 3 months on our tenancy and finding out the property was on sale without disclosure. Poor communication. I have to be proactive . Deposit was given more than a month.
Dear Elite, in response with your reply on above, in email you have mentioned that the landlord long term plan is to sell the flat. Is 3 months a long term? I replied to that email Im happy as we are looking forward for at least a year or two tenancy. You have replied landlord happy of atleast a year. Is 3 months is atleast a year? Secondly, you have not informed me of the sale. I was at work and received a call from Elite, informing me that a prospect buyer would like to view the property and that is how I know the property was for sale which surprised me. Lastly, I have to keep emailing and calling Elite to follow up my deposit. Does a month needed to find out about cleaning? Your reply is very disappointing. I hope you all know specifically the landlord how this experience heavily affected me in negative way especially I was pregnant and about to give birth, knowing we would be ousted in the property.

Thank you for your review.
We have looked on our records and can see that we advised you on the 11th January 2024 before you paid your holding fee for the property, that the landlord would eventually sell the property. He told us at the time he was happy for a tenancy for at least a year which we advised you of.
We were contacted by a local estate agent in May 2024 three months into your tenancy to request a sales viewing. We immediately spoke to your landlord regarding this as we hadn’t been made aware at this point that he was selling that soon or that the property was on the market. Once he had confirmed, we then advised you accordingly. We kept you as a top priority for any properties that we had becoming available, but unfortunately the only two properties we had on at the time were not accepting children.
Regarding the delay in your deposit, looking on our records I can see this was due to obtaining a quote for a professional clean at the end of your tenancy and waiting on the go ahead from your landlord to make this deduction from your deposit.
We are sorry to see your negative review, but we do feel that we communicated with you from the start regarding the landlord’s intentions to eventually sell the property and kept you in the loop as soon as we were made aware of the property actually being market.
We hope you have now settled in your new property and wish you all the best moving forward.

GoogleAbsolute shocking letting agency!! 1 star is too generous. I was a tenant in one of their properties for 6 months last year. Upon viewing the property, a fair amount of work needed to be done. Was reassured this would all be done in time before moving in. Moved in 3 weeks later and all the work had been left unfinished (pictures attached)! The worst of which was exposed wires going into the water tank which I was told by the electrician who fixed it, that it was extremely dangerous. The property hadn't been cleaned, and had obviously not been checked over by them before handing me the keys. Workmen had to come into the property the following week to complete the work. Wasn't compensated in any way, and apparently them getting the workmen in the following week to finish it, was seen as being helpful. 6 months later at the end of the tenancy, and they have now tried keeping some of my deposit. Part of it for apparently having to de-weed the garden, even though it was covered in weeds when I moved in, and part of it for not getting in a professional cleaner (I did have 2 dogs in the property, but the property was cleaned and left immaculate by myself, and I physically couldn't get someone in due to the fact we're in a national lockdown and at the time I was at home on furlough leave). Will never use them again, completely unprofessional attitude, especially Peter who also never returned a parcel to myself that arrived after I had moved out.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

The landlords contractors were appointed to do the works and all safety issues were advised by Elite to the Landlord. Your tenancy that you signed clearly stated that you were required to do a professional clean. This was deducted from your deposit at the request of the landlord. We returned to the property a few times to retrieve the parcel that did not arrive.
You were sent a letter at the end of your tenancy instructing you to make sure your post was redirected.
We are sorry that you feel this way although Elite has done everything possible to assist you.
