GoogleWe attended a viewing with Navaz from Fox & Sons and she was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the property and answered all of our questions with confidence. She was also really warm and friendly, which made the viewing a very pleasant experience.

I have put one star as there’s no option for no stars.. appalling service, put two properties on the market with them, Goring office and Worthing, both offices are incompetent, no one ever calls back, wish I hadn’t put my property on the market with them, if we had no interest for a week or so, they would say drop the price, after they’d valued the property at that price. Management are useless, told lies to get themselves out of the s**t, would NOT recommend whatsoever. Stay clear of there shoddy workmanship!

GoogleCan't speak highly enough about Kieran who showed us around a property. He had answers to all our questions and provided information we hadn't thought to ask - a level of professionalism that has been lacking in many other agents. The current market seems to be so fluid that agents either don't have the time, or see no value, in knowing the ins and outs of a place. As first time buyers this process is both new, exciting, and a bit terrifying! Kieran removed those barriers and allowed us to think clearly.

Dealings with his company didn’t even get past first contact. I saw a house I very much wanted to view and made several phone calls to their Yeovil branch over a 2 day period to arrange it. Not once was the phone answered in person and despite leaving VM messages, I was never called back. I was even considering knocking on the door of the property and asking the owners to contact Fox & Sons themselves to arrange a viewing! However, I have since found a property so no need, but if and when I ever come to sell it, it certainly won’t be through Fox & Sons. They don’t appear to work for either sellers OR buyers.

The Crawley team, particularly Branch Manager Kane Caulfield, displayed unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior.They wasted our time by not responding promptly to our inquiries, forcing us to follow up continuously for weeks, both regarding our initial offer and when the property came back on the market.When we decided not to proceed with the offer, Kane Caulfield began speaking to us in a rude and unprofessional manner.We kindly request that take appropriate action regarding the Branch Manager's behavior.

Impossible to get a hold of them by phone or email. Couldn't get them to contact the potential landlord to sign the tenancy agreement until 7 days after the agreed move in date at which point tried to increase the rent from £1000pcm to £1300pcm. I didn't accept it and tried contacting them for over 2 months to return my deposit and they only started replying to my emails after I threatened legal action if they didn't return my deposit. Still waited until the day before I said I would take action before returning my money. I wouldn't ever look at a house managed by this company ever again and I should have called everything off once I saw how difficult it was to get replies even before signing anything

Slammed the phone down on my father when he was enquiring about a Peacehaven bungalow and was asked if his property was on the market. When he said "Not yet" the agent simply hung up. Serious buyer turned away by this agency. Would reconsider if you are thinking of listing your property with them.

I had 8 different local estate agents come to value my house. All except Fox & Sons valued it by comparing it with properties that bore little resemblance to mine. The Fox & Sons valuer actually looked at the property properly and valued it accordingly. It sold within 5 days of going on the market for £16,000 more than the others had valued it. We have just completed.

I had 3 other estate agents to look at my dads house after he passed the other agents weren't friendly where as Sam from the Lewes branch was really nice friendly and honest so i went to him although he didn't always get back to me when he said he would he still got back and kept me up-to-date all the other staff from the Lewes branch were lovely and very helpful im looking to buy my house and eventually move and without a doubt ill be going to Sam at the Lewes branch Thank you Sam for all ur help and support and advice

At Waterlooville branch , I have to say the staff are excellent. I was a client buying from a different county, the help and support from this branch was amazing. James Barton-leigh showed us the property first, polite, professional, friendly and helpful, this young guy knows his business and is really great. The manager John Leach has helped me so much. He assisted me when I was panicking about a survey, kept in touch and helped to make my move smooth. Both these gentlemen were brilliant, very helpful, went above and beyond to really help. I cannot express enough how this branch and their staff have assisted me in what was a tricky purchase due to external reasons. Want to buy, go to fox and sons Waterlooville, outstanding service from this amazing staff. Thank you all, best staff ever.

Purchase went OK-ish although took nearly 7 months for a simple case. They found tenants quick enough, and took their deposit. Getting this custodial deposit transferred to my TDS account a nightmare, 15 work days after advising them of details needed for the transfer (and 34days after taking the deposit), their "accounts team" demand the same TDS information and tenant/property address information they already have. 18 days later I'm still trying to get this done (Portsmouth). Finally Fox & sons have apologised, and admitted their staff needed further training. They eventually provided details of the secure placement of the tenants deposit, and have given a £100 compensation. This is of course scant compensation for the hours of work caused to me, the anxiety I've suffered, and ineptitude shown by their staff

Just completed on my house sale in Eastbourne. I found Tom and his colleagues very easy to deal with. I accepted an offer for full market price within 10 days. Tom kept me up to date weekly with the process, keeping in contact with my conveyancer also. I went to Fox & Sons to sell because 15 yrs earlier I bought through them. Good to know their standards are still as high as they were then!

I can’t recommend fox and sons Eastbourne highly enough.The Manager Stephen was excellent when it came to the sale of our property in Percival Road.We had three agents out to value our home and we felt fox and sons had our best interest’s at heart and we were proved right. Avoid Fox and Sons, Hove branch. They have very little integrity. After we removed their instructions, they sent a 'sour grapes' bill for something they had offered to pay for. Paying is not the problem if it was rightfully billed, but when we asked for an explanation of the invoice, none was provided just continued harassment for payment. Very poor form, wasting both my time and theirs for what appears to be a petty revenge for leaving them. Once the initial sales patter had been executed, they also exhibited a lack lustre standard of service, providing no updates or feedback, interactions with some even felt slightly rude and offhand. Experiences with other Hove agents, so far 10 times better.

I've just completed a complex purchase through Fox & Sons Rottingdean, and could not be happier with the service. Alex in particular was conscientious about keeping me up-to-date throughout, and reassured the vendors that the finance would come through in time for their own purchase deadline. The other staff, in particular Alison, were warm and very helpful. And when I got the keys yesterday, it was very touching to find the vendors had left me a lovely card wishing me happiness in the flat, and two bottles of wine to celebrate!Thanks, Alex, you were ace!

He found some really nice properties matching our criteria that we hadn’t noticed ourselves, and he booked us in to view them within a couple of days. He offered great service, info, and knowledge during the viewings and followed up quickly with answers to our questions afterwards.

I've recently started looking for a property to buy. Being neurodivergent, I have requested all correspondence be via email from all letting agents, so i can orgabise and manage a very overwhelming process. Unfortunately, Fox and Sons (brighton) seemed to have an issue with this and even so I repeatedly requested email correspondence, I was told that 'phone calls would be easier for both of us'.

AVOID JACK ALLSOBROOK. He will lie & con you of your money. Took us for an extra £3000, we signed the form for £25% if he got us over the asking price, he then took back the paperwork to supposedly complete the form,unbeknownst to us he changed the percentage to 1.5%, we didnt check it as he had just reiterated that we would be paying 1%. We didn't find out until our solicitor paid Fox & Sons the fee. We didn't see or hear from him again. We called the Lewes branch on the 16th Aug 2023 when we found out we had overpaid be told he had been transferred to the Crawley branch due to so many complaints regarding his underhanded approach. Thank you Jack for stealing from us and I expect many others. I wonder just how much further you can sink, but I expect your pit is bottomless & of course this corrupt company have done nothing about it. Not even a phone call from head office. As long as they are making money they do not seem to care.

Excellent service from Scarlett and David at Fox and Sons, Eastbourne. Both very friendly and efficient on the telephone and in person for property viewings. No delays or need to chase up for anything as they were so efficient unlike the opposite experience recrived with a number of other estate agents in Eastbourne regarding lettings. Wishing them both much success in their careers.

Stupidly agreed to a free valuation with no pressure however after deciding we wouldn’t be selling for a while and telling them that, I’ve had call after call from both the Crawley office and another local office. I emailed them to ask that my details be removed from their systems which was acknowledged however the calls continued.

TrustpilotCrawley Branch - Zero Customer Service!
Used Fox & Sons Crawley multiple times to rent one of our properties. They sent us a bill for lettings shortly after a new Tennent arrived which was incorrect and we naturally requested an accurate invoice. Silence for several weeks until we got a letter from a debt collector!! Wowser! We then spent time chasing unanswered calls and emails. The answer from the lettings team at Fox & Son Crawley was "it's nothing to do with us". Clearly it was everything to do with the Crawley branch as they can not do simple addition. No response from branch manager either - as expected. Would not recommend and will avoid in future!!
