In the last year we have purchased a property through Hunters Beverley office and sold one. Over the last thirty years we have bought and sold many houses and working with this agency has been the best experience ever. During our purchase I was seriously ill which slowed the whole process down but Ellie kept things on track with our vendors and ensured that eventually all went smoothly. Our recent sale of another property took some time to complete due to a long and complicated chain. Ellie was great at finding information from further down the chain and keeping us well informed of everything she knew. When Ellie wasn't in the office the rest of the team were equally as hard working and approachable. Though I never intend moving again i would happily recommend this team to anyone who is looking to buy or sell property. Thank you guys for all your hard work - it was great dealing with you!

I’ve experienced Hunters Beverley from both the buyer and seller perspective, and on each occasion it has been managed professionally. Leanne has always conducted business in a clear manner, communicating effectively between all parties concerned. When buying through them, Hunters Beverley removed the ambiguity from the process, and all though they are acting on behalf of their client as they sell, not once did I feel that my needs were a secondary consideration. No pressure was ever applied to complete the process, even on the occasions I felt any personal doubt about the properties suitability to my needs. As a seller, the process was clear, simple, and managed with confidence from the start, which saw a significant selling figure only 14 months after I’d bought the property. This process saw a minor third party complication that required delicate handling, to which Leanne responded quickly and effectively to establish fact, and manage a continued vendor client relationship all the way to completion. From the moment I walked into the Hunters Beverley office, it felt as I would want it to; professional, courteous, and more than a cut above any other estate agent I’d experienced. My parting feelings on Hunters Beverley, and that of Leanne and her team, were that I made exactly the right choice in determining to use them for the sale. Hunters. Kendal.Have no problem recommending this branch. Unfortunately lockdown got in the way. Launch was on Wednesdsy and lockdown Friday which restricted viewing. Kept me well informed as to who was viewing. When I did get a sale dealt with the buyer in no uncertain terms as he was trying to find lots of faults to drive down the price. He didn't succeed! Suzanne Jackson valued my property and was informative and good to deal with as were the rest of the staff in the office dealing with Kendal.

North Somerset’s Best.

I’d just like to thank all the staff at Hunters in North Somerset, Yatton, Portishead and Nailsea offices. They have sold 2 Of our private houses for us in the past 3 Years, and one of our rental properties before that. All Were sold in a matter of days. Of the 2 recent sales the 1st one went through smoothly in 2 months. The second was not quite so good through no fault of Hunters I might add.2nd property sold the 1st day on the market but turned out the lady was telling porkies about her funding so she disappeared after 2 weeks🤬Another Confirmed buyer Within the same week and except for the obvious Covid delays, mainly being unable to sort removals, this time everything went as planned.Many thanks to Richard, Mandy and James for their excellent Professional service and I would strongly recommend Hunters to anyone thinking of selling in the North Somerset area. Hunters, Carlisle Branch.We feel the agent did not convey our offer correctly to the vendor, telling them we had met their price without including the proviso that we had made that our increased offer was to include contents and furnishings to the value of £5,000. Therefore the vendors thought we had met their price while we thought we had negotiated some furnishings for the property. This we feel was dishonest and caused embarrasment and problems when finalising the sale through the solicitors.

So unprofessional. Middlesbrough- Teesside Lettings branch cancelled my viewings on the same day just an hour before the appointment with a lame reason of not confirming it via an email when the appointments are usually confirmed by phones. Also no necessary information about the property was given a week ago while I booked the appointments but today after them sending me appointment cancellation emails. I had cancelled my plans for today as I had 2 appointments with them. Staff has no manners to talk to a client, the way of sending emails is so casual and informal. They offered me appointment for the next day when I specifically requested for an appointment for today itself a week ago. I just told them I don’t want to go ahead with such unprofessional company. Management needs some training so do the staff in dealing with the clients.

We spent time on the market with another local agent and the experience was really poor. They made mistakes that cost us a buyer, failed to complete financial checks before taking us off the market and were very reactive. We switched to Hunters and the experience was far better and got us the result we wanted. I can not recommend them more. Other agents don’t proactively follow the sale through whereas Leanne and her team didn’t stop proactively pushing the sale through until the day we completed. We also bought our next property from them and saw the other side of the sale process, they excelled there too. You get what you pay for!

Dishonest, incompetent and terrible attitude

Should you choose this letting agents here are a few things you can expect as routine:1) Lying about the status of properties on the market and deliberately misleading all parties on the status of such properties.2) Arranging appointments to view properties that they don't even turn up to meet you at.3) Cocky, arrogant and sarcastic customer service. They really do not care AT ALL!Literally the worst letting agent you could ever choose to instruct. As you can see from the other reviews, dishonesty, incompetence and terrible staff attitudes are a feature. There is a reason for that. Be warned.

Called Hunters Belmont Circle to arrange a valuation of my home. They asked me the reason for wanting to sell and when I told them it was because we're divorcing the representative immediately turned frosty and said they charge for valuations if your selling due to divorce. Imagine you're presented with a very devastating and traumatic life event, and then the pariahs come a hunting to see if they too can make a profit out of someone else's misery. Shameful.

Why all the complications?

Tried to book a viewing online of a property in South Shields. I received multiple text messages and emails asking me to complete a further questionnaire before they could proceed. This questionnaire then appears to have prompted another questionnaire (with multiple further texts and emails), which looked like it was going to try and book me in for a property valuation of my current home. I decided instead to call and try and book a viewing. The gentleman who answered seemed thoroughly disinterested and told me viewings could only be booked for weekdays, and only during the hours of 9am to 5pm. I explained that I work during those hours (as most people do, I would suspect) and he said, 'Ok then, bye' and terminated the call.Not sure exactly how anyone is supposed to view a property with Hunters.

We found a property we loved for sale by Hunters and all throughout the process of buying it, Fiona kept us up-to-date with goings on and chased the solicitors for us many times which helped the process greatly. She let us know when there were cliches well before the solicitor did which enabled us to take action quicker. From the buyer's point of view, I would highly recommend Hunters and no doubt if we come to sell, it will be via Hunters.

Absolutely the worst estate agents , I booked a flat viewing at 4:45pm on Friday evening , I was left a voice message in the morning asking if I couldn’t attend please let them know, I was attending so not necessary, I drove for 50 mins in rush hour traffic and got to the property about 4:47 pm 2 mins late, on the travel over I phoned up the company 4 times leaving messages saying I will be slightly late no answer, when I go to the property the agent wasn’t there , no phone call to my mobile at any point, I knocked on the door and the owners were there very surprised to see me 🤔🤔 I said hi I have a viewing which they replied oh we didn’t know and there has been no agent there today waiting for me, it was very awkward looking around and then I left, the whole situation was a joke how DARE YOU treat potential renters/buyers that way not even turning up and even letting the owners know, waste of my travel time and petrol money , email the agents and they replied back there was someone there but because u was 2 min late they left as there to busy to wait, CROCK of S**t no one was there confirmed bye the owners, I really hope your company goes bust and u all lose your jobs , I should of look at the reviews on here before contacting your agency as there shocking and the worst Iv ever see. After trying and failing to sell my flat with many other estate agents in Beverley, it was such a relief to find one that really cared. Fiona went above and beyond - chasing the solicitors (who were very poor and almost lost me the sale), dealing with difficult tenants (I was selling the flat with tenants, who tried to stop the sale going through as they wanted to buy it when they could afford it), etc. She regularly updated me on progress and I cannot thank her enough for changing my life. I can now go travelling, which I have wanted to do for many years. I am not one for naming and shaming but be very careful about the solicitors that you choose. Fiona had to do a lot of their work herself, which she did without complaint. She deserves all the credit she receives.
