Amazing team

Amazing team I’ve just purchased my first home through Graham Butt, and Isobel, Elise and the rest of the team were amazing from start to finish. There were several challenges along the way, none of which were caused by Graham Butt, but their communication, hard work and support made the whole process so much easier. During a very stressful time, I knew I could rely on them. Whenever I called, someone was always there to put my mind at ease or explain what was happening, and sometimes that was all I needed. I would happily recommend Graham Butt to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you again for all your hard work and for sticking with this one!

Second purchase and first sale through James and the team and yet again had an outstanding experience with them all. My experience of Graham Butt Estate Agents was first class. Isobel Howard deserves a special mention for her personal attention from the time of viewing all the way through to completion. She answered any questions I had, diligently seeking out the answers to any she didn’t know. I was a nervous (first time on my own) buyer and she provided explanations and assurances along the way to get me over the line. She also had a good relationship with the solicitors and seller, so was able to chase up where necessary. If she wasn’t available, like when a wanted an extra viewing, other members of the team stepped in and were equally kind and supportive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team, but particularly Isobel, who was very client-focused, including being by my side to understand and complete some of the online documents, as the solicitor’s operation was paper-free and consequently, all online.

would highly recommend Graham Butt Agents to anyone. Their handling of my sale was dealt with professionally, swiftly with utmost attention to detail. However, they really impressed when on the day of Contract exchange my Seller pulled out of her sale causing the whole chain to collapse. James Butt stepped in personally and showed great negotiation, tenacity and creativity to get it all back on track to complete within 2 weeks. James and his team recovered the situation with significantly more input than any other Agent in the chain and as such deserve a 12 out of 10 for the service provided. A great result provided by a really competent and professional set of individuals!

Fantastic service from start to finish in the sale of my Mum's bungalow. Exemplary Service, Especially When Things Get Tough!

I Honestly Cannot Recommend Graham Butts Estate Agents Littlehampton Enough. Seriously the whole team really were absolutely amazing! Trust me I always feel the biggest nuisance ever but sadly that’s just me & my mental health but credit where it’s due & especially when some sales aren’t straightforward as you’d hoped having a fantastic caring kind team that honestly re assure you that your not a nuisance is when everything counts. I have to give outstanding credit to Kris bless him for genuinely going above & beyond in absolutely everything. Putting up with me for one ! No seriously sadly I’d lost my Stepmother & unfortunately selling her property sadly didn’t go quite as smoothly as liked. I hasten to add this was sadly due to the buyers solicitors!! Honestly Kris really pushed & kindly chased all the way & really kept me going especially when I was honestly at the point of feeling I couldn’t do it anymore. Thank goodness Switch Law was kindly recommended by Butts & honestly the service I received again from them was amazing. Customer care seems to be well down the priority list.

We’ve just picked up the keys to a property marketed by Graham Butt. We had to work for it. An ansaphone message we left during office hours asking if we could pick up the keys went unanswered, necessitating a trip to the local branch where the person behind the desk was browsing online for handbags. They casually mentioned that the keys were located at another branch prompting another journey to the second branch. So, regrettably, this is a story of the client having to do the leg work that might reasonably have been expected to have been done by the estate agent. Seemingly surfing the internet is more important than answering phone calls or replying to ansaphone messages. You’re lucky to get 3 stars TBH.

I cannot recommend highly enough Graham Butt’s estate agents, particularly the East Preston branch. They’ve recently sold my late mothers house, a sale which has been going on for the best part of a year due to probate issues on my part. Although we lost the original buyer, due to unforeseen probate timescales, Toby, Pat, Jonathan and the team managed to re sell the property for more money within days. Their communication was A1, even when there was bad news. When they were asking for updates they were compassionate and never hassled, merely trying to keep all parties in communication. The day of completion has finally come and I can’t thank them enough. I’ve never left a 100% score or 5 out of 5 review as I believe there’s always room for improvement. However, in this case I cannot find fault and can’t praise the team enough, particularly Pat who I think had to take the brunt of some understandably anxious and frustrated vendors and buyers along the way. In modern times of IT companies taking over the world and employees trained to scripts, it’s refreshing to see companies like Butt’s operating in such a courteous, professional and personal level.
