GoogleHaving rented a property in Sidmouth for several years, I have always been very happy with the service I received from Harrison Lavers and Potburys. Bobby and Manda were always extremely professional, kind and pleasant to deal with. Any repairs were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend the lettings department highly enough!

GoogleOur family had a very good experience with this company whom we engaged to sell our deceased father's house. They were always courteous, helpful and respectful in our dealings with them. We were in contact with various members of the team which was a bit confusing at times but the communication was always prompt and efficient. The house took longer to sell than we had anticipated, with some poor communication on the part of both solicitors but Jay facilitated some of these issues successfully. I would definitely recommend them.

GoogleMy experience of renting a property through Harrison, Lavers and Potburys was very positive both during the searching phase of finding the right property and throughout my time living there. Bobby and Manda have always been very helpful, had great communication, and gone above and beyond to make the experience positive. Past experiences with renting through estate agents have been very impersonal and communication has been lacking, whereas this experience was the opposite and I felt I could always email, call or pop into the office and have a warm greeting and discuss anything promptly. Anything that needed addressing within the property was done so quickly. I would highly recommend searching for a property and renting through them

GoogleI have had no dealings with this company except to ask advise on a property, in Sidmouth to rent . Admittedly the listing says no dogs, but it was a short term let and I thought the question could at least be asked I found the lady letting agent rude and very short with me (well it is Monday morning!) and not at all understanding that we could be a client as well We come extremely well qualified to rent and it's a slight on the letting company to have an agent so off as you could feel her frown and displeasure at my question down the phone ..And being in customer service myself for 30 years trust me I know! a complete let down to the company

GoogleHarrison & Lavers and Potburys have handled our 2 rental lettings for over 14 years. We cannot speak more highly of them for their professionalism, helpfulness, dedication and advice. We have never had a gap between tenants and the majority of these have always been long term. The director, Bobby Marshall and his great team Manda and previously Fiona have always deal with any problems (mostly everyday issues ie boiler, plumbing etc) quickly and efficiently. Most importantly they have always kept us informed and up to date. As we live 300 miles away this has been absolutely essential that any problems are tackled immediately. GoogleJust coming to the end of a six month tenancy in one of Harrison Lavers & Potburys properties. A short term let whilst I looked for a property to buy. I began the tenancy right at the start of the lock down and so was trapped here without my family (though I cannot think of a better place to be trapped than Sidmouth!) I cannot praise Bobby Marshall enough. He was professional, so kind and helpful, and he really did go the extra mile to help me. It was a difficult time for me being caught here in Sidmouth on my own and Bobby was very supportive. I didn't really have any issues with the property, just a couple of minor every day things, e.g. flush on loo; Bobby responded immediately and made sure these issues were sorted out really quickly. I also found all the staff in the office in Sidmouth very friendly and welcoming; certainly the best Estate Agents in Sidmouth (in my opinion!) GoogleThe process of identifying suitable tenants for Old Mill House was handled very professionally and in a timely manner; this resulted in there being only a very short period between our previous tenants departing and new tenants taking up residence. Bobby's advice regarding the amount of rent we should charge was also very helpful.
