TrustpilotWorst letting agents ever, stay clear or you will waste time and money
I had a very negative experience with O’Riordan Bond Lettings and I would stay clear if you want to save yourself time, money and stress.I found them highly unprofessional from the moment I took out a tenancy with them. They emailed me the wrong documents and leaked someone else’s personal data. On the day when I was supposed to collect the keys for the property they sent me to the wrong office and didn’t apologise. There were issues with the property that were raised and they never bothered to fix. They were very bad at communicating key information and some of the agents were particularly rude. Paige was particularly unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. They tried to claim part of my deposit to fix problems with the property that were already there when I moved in and we had to go through the very time-consuming process of starting a DPS dispute. I got my money back eventually but they’ve done this to other people (see previous reviews). Overall it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a letting agency

FacebookExcellent experience with Adele Taylor, Caroline Wright and their recommended services (Key Conveyancing, CWH Surveyors and White Structural Consulting LTD)
I would not hesitate to recommend every single person and company involved in our purchase. It was a well oiled machine with a total of 35 days from offer to completion!

TrustpilotOutstanding service
I really can't recommend the team at The Duston office enough. Liam, Matthew and Joe all went above and beyond what they needed to do to make sure our house sold and we found one to buy very quickly when our original purchase fell through in the last couple of weeks. Without their hard work I genuninely don't think we would have ended up moving. I had 3 estate agents in to quote to sell our home and they were by far the most professional and suggested the best price which we got fairly close to. Other estate agents had quoted significantly lower as though they just wanted a quick sale. Team, you were all fantastic, I really can't thank you enough and if I move again I would definitely be coming back. You also did a great job with the house sale/purchase for my parents, equally as efficient and helpful.

TrustpilotWe did it
Firstly, to Steph; no one could have worked harder to sell our house. She was absolutely brilliant! Just when we were about to give up, she gave it one last push and sold it for us. Her determination and positivity never wavered, and we’re so grateful for everything she did. We are now moving to our dream home next week!

Trustpilot5 Star Agent
We have recently sold our house in NN3 via O'Riordan Bond in Weston Favell. We cannot rate them high enough. From start to finish we received an excellent service. During the final weeks, Kirsty went over and beyond to keep all parties communicating and updated. We have no hesitation to recommend them as an agent, but also as a team that can give professional advice. A true 5-star service. Thanks for everything.

TrustpilotUnprofessionalism at its Finest
Saw a house advertised with O'RIORDAN BOND ESTATE in Northampton. Called to arrange a viewing. The initial man I spoke to asked me a lot of personal questions and was rude(more interested in steering me towards their own mortgage broker, solicitor etc). Said he would call me the next day...I heard nothing. I called 2 days later and Jessica was helpful. When I spoke to another man to arrange a date for the viewing he said that he had me on 'his list of things to do' and assured me that he had not forgotten me. In fact he did. Sorry I lied, he did remember me 5 days later after there had been 6 few viewings and an offer made on the property by another party.Their unprofessionalism is astounding. (Although I must give Jessica credit because she was the only one that actually had the decency to respond to my phone calls). The 2 men later called after the fact and had the temerity to ask if I wanted to look at another property from them and telling me that if the offer fell through on the house I liked that they may contact me.What they fail to understand is that how you treat people leaves a lasting impression and no matter how much I love a house, I would NEVER in the future purchase one from them. Unless you want to go with their solicitors, mortgage broker etc avoid them at all cost.

FacebookThe start of my experience with O’Riordan Bond was really positive with Dan, Joe, and the sales team from Abington being really professional, responsive, and attentive. Initial discussions were quick, photos taken, advert completed and my property was marketed. Whilst viewings were a little slow the team did secure a buyer (considerably below what I wanted to accept, but they assured me it was the best thing to accept the offer) and my house came off the market for viewings to enable my buyer to sell their property.
Unfortunately my experience from that point onwards was very poor (and this is not a reflection of the sales team, but has really soured the entire selling experience for me - hence my rating reflects this).
I was hounded continually for updates on whether I had found a property to buy despite me being clear it was the summer holidays and there was nothing for me to view, I was misled about the position of others in the chain below me (which resulted in me being negatively financially impacted in order to ensure the chain did not collapse), I was threatened with my buyer ‘potentially walking away’ several times despite my solicitor being clear of the position of the rest of the chain, unfortunately the way that I was spoken to (countless times) and made to feel, leads me to think alternative agents may be better in Northampton.
It’s a shame as the sales part of the experience was positive, however the last 4 months have been horrendous. I’ve provided very detailed feedback about my experience to Tim, and was expecting a follow up, which he promised on the call - which hasn’t happened. My feedback was constructive and I hope it will be taken on board to avoid anyone else having such a stressful and unpleasant experience.
To add insult to injury there was no contact at all when my sale went through, no acknowledgment, no ‘thank you for choosing us’, nothing. On reflection it really was a shambles!

GoogleBrilliant estate agents and fantastic service. The manager Becky is very helpful and knowledgeable. Lewis, another estate agent, is particularly good at his job, he was supportive, informative and efficient. He supported us amazingly through our sale and continues to go above and beyond to help us in our new house, his communication and approachability are two of his best assets - he's definitely worth his weight in gold!

GoogleSadly, I would not recommend this estate agent. This is due to an experience with one agent, but I am afraid I would not recommend on this basis. We were not made fully aware of our sellers true position- which would have been possible to do in a professional manner and not at the sellers expense and so, wasted months waiting for them to find a house only to discover, eventually, they were only looking at ‘one road’ in a particular area. The agent did not keep us updated on progress, as obviously there was none and so I had to keep calling them. I felt fobbed off and let down and when I challenged the agent never felt I received a proper explanation or a honest response! I can’t imagine we were the first buyers who experienced this here either! Better luck to the next! An awful extra stressful waste of time for all in our chain. 😞

TrustpilotArrogant and disinterested Salesman!
I had a viewing today with Lewis Boyall - sale manager! He arrived late to the viewing, was not interested to share information about the property [possibly he does not know much about it!] or even to give a leaflet regarding the property in question for sale. He did not appear to know much about the property, but he knew about the folding door! I would not put my property for sale with someone who was disinterested and he was in hurry to leave the property. We felt rushed out. I would not recommend to buy or to sell through this estate agency unless they change their behaviour!!

TrustpilotTrust? Maybe not!
Told my house was un-mortgageable and O'Riordan Bond advertised it for £160k for a cash buyer only. This week I have sold it through another company for £185k to a buyer with a mortgage! ORiordan Bond's stapline includes the word 'trust.' I wouldn't if I were you.

TrustpilotI do not recommend this agency
I do not recommend this agency, they do not answer the phone, we were deceived, there was supposed to be no chain, but it turned out that there was, Before buying, repairs were supposed to be done, as bad as a broken hinge in the main door, there was no handle to exit to the garden from the kitchen, 3 skips of rubbish, we were assured that it would be done, after exchanging contracts, the agency's answer "that's how it sometimes is". This is unacceptable. After finalizing the contracts, they do not care about anything anymore. I definitely do not recommend!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with O'RIORDAN BOND estate agents. Despite my wife being continuously employed for the past three years on a zero-hours contract, her income was completely dismissed during the affordability assessment.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with O’Riordan Bond. After applying to rent a property and attending a viewing, I was informed that my application had been successful. I was asked to pay the deposit, which I did promptly, and I completed all the required paperwork and referencing without any issues.

FacebookI had a wonderful experience with the Kingsthorpe office. Marcus, Lewis and Olivia did a fabulous job finding the right buyer for my Mums house. They were so good about keeping me informed throughout the entire transaction. Even while I was part of the time in USA, and we juggled different time zones. They are such a lovely and professional team. I would highly recommend them.
A massive thank you.

TrustpilotLied at, manipulated and backstabbed
Really pushy agent who persuaded me to ignore my buildings report and supplied me with a roofers report of a roofer of the agent's knowing, stating the roof of the house I was buying was fine, when now that I'm in the house it turns out the builder report was right, the whole lot is rotten and needs replacing ASAP. Then they pushed the sale threatening that it falls through and with this forcing my hand and so ending negotiations.
