I am committed to Partnership with my Rental Management company so it was with great reluctance I had decided it was time for me to look for other alternatives. Starting discussions with Dexters in Northfields I was quickly in touch with Natasha. Wow! This was like Customer Service how it used to be. She was around to see the flat only hours after our first call, taking photographs, and within a day had managed to find excellent tenants (a job that was beyond the existing letting agency in 3 weeks). And then immediately after new tenants moving in she was making a personal visit to the property to sort out teething problems. Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.

Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

I cannot thank and recommend Ronan and the team at Dexters Northfields enough for dealing with the sale of my property. I was a very demanding client that wanted my sale done and dusted quickly. From the first time I spoke to Ronan I knew he was the person to trust with our sale. He would be in our corner and do what was needed to be done. He never made a promise he couldn’t keep and promised that the buyers we choose were the right ones. I had a days when I was upset and worried and the team at Northfields were all on hand to speak to me and all knew about the transaction so I never felt worried if Ronan wasn’t in the office. This review is in particular for Dexter's Lee.If you think all Estate Agents in Lee are the same,then Dexter's Lee is definitely different. very different,in fact they could contend for the worst estate agency in England. I would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling through Dexter's Lee to contact me. The team, and in particular the sales team are money oriented. They will provide all sorts of distorted facts to make you list their property through them and whilst buying ,all sorts of lies without any moral conscience will be told. Their costs are higher than other than other estate agents who provide a far more personal service. This agency strives on the Dexter's brand but having dealt with Dexter's in other parts,I can easily vouch that they are the worst and most unprofessional. Please do your research before listing your property,buying and even thinking of renting out through them. They will completely ignore any of your requests or their duties as long as they can make their commission. As stated I am ready to help and discuss in more detail on why to avoid this agency
