Wow - absolutely amazing customer service! I've been through multiple estate agents and Borthwicks is above and beyond all others. Especially Paul C. who has been just a pleasure to work with. From the moment he showed me the flat, to finalising the lease, and ensuring I was moved in properly - it's been such a pleasant surprise. He responds quickly, resolves things, and is polite. I had a list of requests from moving items out, to getting new appliances, and all were accomodated without question. There is no doubt I will use Borthwicks for future property needs. Don't hesitate to use them, not only did they help save me money but even if I had to pay extra it would be totally worth it. Top level professionalism and customer service. Great experience throughout the tenancy. Processes have always been smooth, transparent and quick. Borthwicks are easily the best estate agents I have ever dealt with. I rented a flat from them for just over a year and they were very easy to communicate with from the start. I believe then genuinely cared about our wellbeing whilst living in the property, as well the wellbeing of the property itself. They even talked to the landlords about expanding our contract to help accommodate us when my partner became pregnant. Special mention to Paul as he was our main contact. It’s not often you get to deal with estate agents who are as honest and reliable as Borthwicks. Thanks again to all of you.

I dealt with Paul from the beginning when he showed me the unit and subsequently helped me to secure a monthly rent that was more affordable. Paul and his colleagues, particularly Mike, always responded promptly to my queries. During the check-out, the whole process was quick and straightforward. When he learned that I was leaving the country, Paul helped to expedite the refund of my deposit. His colleague Maria arranged for the full refund of my deposit on the very same day as my check-out which was simply fantastic. Borthwicks Chiswick were a pleasure to deal with throughout my tenancy. Paul, Robert and Maria were efficient at all stages, from the initial arranging of tenancy, renewal and all the way to moving out. Communication was always very good and in my case they were particularly helpful towards the end of my term, which was very much appreciated. It is a more personable agency than others around. Our experience with Borthwicks was incredibly positive. After weeks of searching and dealing with pushy agents from the bigger agencies, the warm and grounded approach from Paul and the team at Borthwicks was such a refreshing change. They let us the perfect apartment at the beginning of the first covid lockdown, when all the safety procedures we're so accustomed to now were brand new. They were quick to reply when we needed anything, otherwise they left us in peace to enjoy the apartment and the lovely area. Hopefully over the years they have new agents.Made the expensive mistake of letting my property in W4 through Tim.Apparently he,s more for tenant than landlord!Tenants left with new mattress I bought them and as I live overseas they had a problem with a tap washer so I said employ a local plumber and I'll deduct from rent.Well,I got an invoice from Beckenham,Kent for GBP525 for a washer!!!!!Never use this agency!The only time they were nice to me was when they knew I wanted to sell,but sold property in 24hrs with 1% commission from the Irish guy on CHS.My apologies,agents name was Hugh.Tim was from the agency that sold my property.

I don’t know if this is an agency or a circus. I did call to arrange a viewing and the guy pretend to don’t hear me. I called again, same story. After 4 calls, the guy told me to stop calling them because they couldn’t hear me. So, I said to him that I’m calling because I wanted to ask few questions about the property. He told me to write an email with questions. Now my question is: why when I said that, he could suddenly hear me? It’s sound like a joke to me. Fair enough, I wrote the email with the question and after 1 minute I got the reply: this flat is not suitable for you because has no lift. I never asked any lift, I didn’t make any question about it. He just didn’t want to deal with me. Very unprofessional. I can’t recommend this agency at all.
