GoogleI have not been in Robinsons. Just walked past the premises. I am always getting asked for reviews of premises after simply walking past them. I'm sure Robinsons is a great business, but I have not even been in the shop. I have given you 5 stars. 1 star was in error. From start to finish the team at Robinsons Crook worked in a professional, highly skilled and coordinated manner. The office manager swiftly put in place a marketing strategy which resulted in a high volume of viewings over a very short period of time.Feedback from the viewings arrived promptly and the office staff, particularly our key link person, kept us well informed. They were always easily contactable, informed and helpful.Our after sale experience was extremely positive. It was very helpful to us that Robinsons have a designated After Sales employee. This experienced person provided a link to the buyers and their legal representatives and we greatly appreciated her calm, skilful liaison through a lengthy, and at times anxiety provoking period.All in all, we were highly satisfied with the service we received from the whole team. They made a stressful experience as smooth and pleasurable as possible. And, most importantly, they achieved the result we wanted!#

I would just like to say how fabulous Ryan, Sharon and Danni have been at the Sedgefield branch. Selling my grandads house which he has owned for over 40 years has been a huge roller coaster of emotions, but the team at Sedgefield have been so amazing in guiding me through. Nothing I’ve asked has been too much trouble and they have been so helpful and reassuring. From the very beginning Ryan did an excellent job of making the whole experience so smooth and stress free. They truly do go above and beyond. I really couldn’t recommend this branch enough, they really are fantastic.

I booked a viewing with Crook branch on a Monday, coming all the way from London (5h drive) so I took a b&b accommodation for that night because I had other viewings as well. The gentleman who greeted me at the property was nice but clumsy. He got the wrong key but he actually said the landlords left the keys on the inside. A complete joke. Asked him what was going to happen now and he said the agency will call me to arrange another viewing. Nobody called the next day so I called and was able to book it only on Thursday, a 3 days gap. So I took a few more days of accommodation and saw the property. I really liked it so I wanted to go ahead with it, filled out the required form, and the next day, I receive a message that the property is gone. I was fuming. It could have been mine if he had the keys. I l go back to London and about 2 weeks later I find another property that I would like to rent. I managed to send a friend who was living about 2h drive with the public transport and arranged the viewing. I called the agency to let them know that my friend could be 5 mins late because the public transport was not very reliable in the area and that she's coming from a long trip. They said fine. She got there 9 mins over the booked time and they left. No phone call, nothing. So it cost me 3 days of extra accommodation to see a property where they failed to provide the service and probably lost it because they had the wrong key, a very long trip back and forth to London, and they couldn't wait 10 more mins or call me to see what's going on. And then, after the supposed viewing that never happened because they left, they send me an email asking how was my viewing. I complained about the situation and never got an answer from them for the last 3 weeks.Here I am now writing this review because of their ignorance and the lack of professionalism showed.

I adore all the staff at the Robinsons seddgefield branch. Nothing is ever too much. I have rented through them for a couple of years and Ryan and sharon have always been there to pick up the phone or an email and reassure and explain of next steps. Recently I am in the process of buying a property with this completing in October. The process has been Rocky however not on Robinsons half. They have reassured me at every step, calmed me down. There too make me laugh. Ryan,Sharon and now Danni are such a lovely team and are like the three musketeers. Each one of them has such a lovely warming tone when you speak to them. Each time I have needed a question to be answered they answer it straight away, or tell me they will come back to myself with an answer. Thankyou to each and everyone one of you, you have been here through some pretty big life events and have treat me as not just a client but probably like a friend/family!

In this day and age it seems people often say "I'll get back to you" and then don't, not at Robinsons, every time I rang to speak to Ryan, and I rang a lot, he always came back to me soon after. He is professional with a great personality and really takes care of you.

GoogleI am searching for an apartment from abroad, and when I inquired about a rental the agency was listing, they essentially told me that an in-person viewing was mandatory to apply for the unit. This is of course impracticable for someone in my situation, so I suggested a virtual viewing, as several other agencies in the area offer. They responded that this would be impossible because a tenant is currently occupying the unit. But surely an in-person viewing would run up against the same practicality, no? The agent would have to arrange a mutually convenient time with the current tenant for a viewing whether it was happening in person or virtually. This policy, if it really exists, is both unreasonable and, so far as I can tell, nonstandard in the area; but truthfully, part of me suspects that the agents may just be lazy and looking for a way to avoid showing a property, or that the agency would prefer not to deal with foreigners. None of these possibilities is at all flattering.

Absolutely shambolic experience. The company is inflexible and does not accommodate for any circumstances that fall outside of its very narrow imagination. It seems staff put in the minimum effort required to keep the job. It seemed as if the company was merely an obstacle between landlord and tenant as it ignored all reasonable offers to modify the terms in the landlord's favour (offered by the tenant). Insisting on requiring in person viewing and in person signing is inexcusable in the third decade of the 21st century, all other Durham agencies seem to realise this. I am at a loss as to how this sorry excuse of an agency is still afloat and wish it a very near doom.

the landlord showed me around the house. both of us were very happy and I told the landlord I would contact Robinson to proceed with my application. the landlord said that if the agency was happy with the reference check, he had no obligation, he also told me he had a bad experience before and this was why he looked for the agency now. Robinson approached me after the viewing and asked for my detail and sent me the Homelet application online after we agreed that I pay at least 6 months' rent in front. after the agency told me the landlord changed his mind, I asked Homelet and was told that Homelet did not do my reference check at all. Robinsons replied to my post and claimed that I upset the landlord and therefore the landlord changed his mind. total less than 5 minutes of house viewing, I did not speak much and only praised the landlord for their well-tidied garden. they seemed very happy about my viewing. you ask for the viewer's feedback, and now I, being the viewer, also ask for the landlord's feedback. please provide me the landlord's feedback as to how I upset him, thank you.
