Leanne was extremely helpful, any request we had for information she was always happy to help, always made us feel welcome and like she could do enough to help us. I have been using this agency to find a property. They have been very proactive in sending me properties within my price range and area specified. Also been quick acting when I have wanted to arrange a viewing. This is to Claire in particular, thank you for listening to my needs and acting in accordance. However all other staff I have interacted with have been just as friendly and professional. So even if I don’t end up finding my home with you, I thank you massively for the help and care so far.

Please be very carefull when renting your property via Pattinsons don’t use any of there contractors very over priced I paid £168 to have an electric check which I could have done by an independent company for £90 . energy efficiency rate was also double the price of independent company stay well clearMy advice don’t trust Pattinsons letting to give you the best deal shop around please save you a lot of money
Good Afternoon. The fixed wiring test is a legal requirement for renting your property out. You had the option of choosing your own contractor to undertake the fixed wiring test or requesting that we arrange the work - the option was entirely at your discretion. The cost of the test was made clear from the outset, which you agreed to and paid for upfront. Unfortunately, the contractor is unable to offer a refund once the work has been completed as requested.

Pattinsons are excellent at ensuring that all of the checks and documentation for a rental property is correct and completed in a timely fashion... it took a week from viewing the property to the checks being completed. The staff, particularly Eloise in the office, were amazing and helpful, kind and understanding, I cant praise them enough. Many thanks for everything.

I dealt with Wendy from the completions team - she was excellent and did everything she said she would on time. I had a particularly useless solicitor and Wendy took it upon herself to really get involved and move things along.

Pattinsons auction was not to be faulted. The live auction had me kept up to date through phonecalls and made everything easy. Especially when agreed to close the auction early on my property.But DO NOT USE their solicitors Bridgeview Law. This isnt really against pattinsons as so I've been told they are under review by them. But get your own solicitor and the process will be completed as easy as ever.

From the moment we made contact with the Houghton branch they were fantastic. Dan kindly valued our property a good 3-4 months prior to us actually going on the market. After the valuation there was no pressure to use them & 3 months later we made contact again to finally put our house on the market, which was a very quick and simple process. During the pictures we had some additional requests to remove wall art from the published pictures, which again was never to much to ask from Dan who was extremely friendly and professional throughout. Sue, the manager of the branch was also extremely helpful when we spoke to her. Overall a great customer experience and would certainly recommend to anyone in the local area of Houghton to use. Thank you team Pattisons!

I had a bit of an issue with a property I was due to be renting and everyone in the referencing team and in branch couldn’t have been more helpful. Every time I called for an update they were eager to help and very forthcoming, putting me at ease. Has all been sorted now in time and really happy with my new home and all the lovely people at Pattinsons.

I have been searching for properties on this website for so long yet everytime I every time i try to book an appointment the staff is always so rude and they always tell you that the property's not on the market anymore then why do you still have it up on the website? They also seem to be quite prejudiced by prefering white families over asian families. Over all I'm very disappointed.

GoogleI dealt with David Husbands and made the right choice in selecting Pattinson (Durham City). I know this because the selling price achieved was actually greater than the highest asking price suggested by the other two agents who valued the property. In addition, the selling fee was the lowest of the three. A double whammy that makes me happy.PositiveQuality, Value

To summarise my dealings with this estate agent Arranged to view 2 properties. The first house was sold and no longer on the market and the 2nd the owner was not informed, thanks for wasting my Saturday morning. Two month later I tried to view a property. Still waiting on returned phone call. Informed agent I was willing to offer over the guide price for a property. Still waiting for returned call 2 weeks later.

Awful, once my offer was accepted despite numerous calls to get updates on the sale, promised call backs never mad. They suggested and recommended I use Hedley's solicitors who are equally appalling. I'm a cash buyer purchasing an empty house.. I am aware of delays due to Covid etc but was unaware that one of the side effects is deceit. It's been 10 weeks since I last heard from them, sale still ongoing.

Absolutely shocking, rude, unhelpful, slow and had the audacity to stand in my house tell me the complete package price then charge £275.00 more than was agreed and completely failed to take any responsibility for it. Together with MSP legal services definitely one to avoid. Why would you quote a price then hide behind small print in the contract and not be honest and upfront with the complete price guide.

Wendy Burbridge was a shining light in the struggle that was purchasing our new house, due to complications outside of their control. She was absolutely fabulous, helpful throughout it all and excellent at helping us through many stressful situations. I would fully recommend Pattinsons, especially Wendy.
