We’re sorry to hear how frustrating and disappointing this experience was, particularly after the time and money you had invested in the purchase. The decision to withdraw from the original sale was made by the vendor and was outside Your Move’s control. The property was subsequently relisted after we received new instructions from the vendor; this should not be taken as an endorsement of their earlier decision. While we fully understand your frustration with the vendor, we don’t feel this review accurately reflects the service provided by our branch. Sadly found this company to be highly disingenuous. No issue with my credit check no issue with my income, paid my holding deposit. Thought the room was secure. Hear nothing for over a week plan to move, suddenly called with zero explanation and told the landlord ‘just wanted to go with someone else’. Later discovered many individuals had given a holding deposit for the same property! Fair enough but be transparent about that. I have since gone with another local company and sailed through with them being open, upfront and genuinely caring towards their clientele. Also they advertised a room with All Bills Included- went and saw the property and there was a separate meter in the room where you are charged an extortionate rate for electricity! This has been a terrible experience for me as a first time renter, the worker I dealt with talked a convincing talk to get me to part with my money! Beware they just don’t care 😫
