I've been waiting on my lease to prepare from last 6 weeks. Every time I talk to solicitor, they just turn around and say ohh sorry I'm working from home.. I do not have a file infront of me... you will hear soon from us... Plus working on a property to buy, but found that they did not receive offer. But offer was sent to chamber practice 3 weeks before and they found later. Totally disappointed.

My wife and I used Chambers for the conveyancing for three properties, a residential and two buy to let's. We reside/resided in Glasgow and were introduced to chambers Dundee office through our mortgage broker who is also based in Dundee. We had just been gifted and inherited some money which we were investing into property. The Chambers team(same throughout) that handled all our conveyancing were professional and it was a smooth process. Particularly we appreciated there dedication to resolve when faced with challenges. Despite the long distance this was never a problem as we effectively communicated via email. Our point of contact was mostly a paralegal who was professional and showed a maturity of good experience. I was in the process of buying my first property & had my heart set on one, only to be informed that The Chamber Practice did not put my offer in in writing soon enough after a verbal offer had been agreed by the seller. The lack of communication from this solicitors was few & far between so I was completely unaware of someone else putting in a higher offer. They have taken full responsibility & apologised to me but this has left me with no home to call my own & lots of new furniture which had been ordered. I would not recommend this solicitors and will not be using them again.
