the best estate agents around, truly a seamless and easy experience, moving/renting/referencing can be really stressful but the team make things really quick and stress free. the girl who moved me into my property is no longer with the company but the level of professionalism is still brilliant. i had a leak which was resolved really quickly, their communication with this issue and in general was 10/10.they really do set an example of how estate agents should be 👏🏼💘

Throughout the process of our sale, Jackson Stops wonderful Shaftesbury Team were at all times, responsive, constructive and extremely helpful wherever we had moments of doubt. In particular, at crucial moments in the sale they were able to 'helicopter' above the emotionality that inevitably accompanies a house sale or purchase and provide laser like advice which was so much appreciated.Another strong quality was the overlapping of the whole team with each knowing the others updates so that whoever answered the call or email, they were able to instantly respond.All the staff were unfailingly cheerful and courteous at all times and there was never a time when a call or email wasn't responded to.All in all, one of our best experiences todate and we would have no hesitation in recommending a would be buyer or seller to the JS Shaftesbury team led by James.

Review for Jackson StopsWell, not sure where to start but at first interaction I thought professional, credible and personable until we realised the game they were playing behind the scenes. We went through some negotiation with the seller, fine, get that this is part of the process. Our significantly above asking price offer was finally accepted, with a condition it was taken off the market. After three weeks, we asked if we could show ours kids around and so we did. Despite knowing we would do this, they had been negotiating with other offers and told us on Monday (3 weeks after our offer was accepted) that they had a formal offer through from another seller. Whilst I appreciate they have a legal right to do this, I think they have a moral obligation to let us know especially as we’re showing our kids around that weekend. They then asked us to go into a bidding war for a house we had already had an offer accepted for. They had said that the person had given a written offer which is bizarre considering they never asked us for anything in writing and my agent had advised to write in so they responded to our offer in the first place as communication with this agent was nonexistent! This shows how this company works - underhand and unprofessional

Tracy and Anthony have been just great - very patient and understanding over the months we've been looking for just the right house. I never got the feeling that they were only after a sale, because I also found they were honest and informative, so that we were able to make the right decision based on facts as well as feelings. In the end, the house we've found is out of their area, but I was so grateful to them and their friendly advice and practical help which made us feel that our future mattered to them. This is a well established and professional company that has been in business for over 100 years and certainly this shows and is witnessed from the keen staff to the partners from top to bottom. Someone once told me that moving home was more stressful that having a child. Being a man I can’t attest to that but my wife can and it is. We were most fortunate to be looked after by Christina Jones, the negotiator at the Sherborne office of Jackson-Stops when selling our house in Compton Pauncefoot and moving into a property in Sherborne. The traditional stresses of moving emerged - a first prospective buyer pulling out disgracefully late and problems with solicitors transferring money at the end. Christina was tremendous, giving clear and wise advice and calming us down when needed. She was most efficient in presenting our house suitably and arranging the visits. She acted immediately when our first buyer pulled out and secured a sale with the under-bidder. She pursued the detail with the solicitors and the other agent meticulously. On the day that we moved when one solicitor unacceptably held up the process by failing to transfer money on time, she was most supportive. She was always available and answered any calls or queries immediately. I have already recommended her to some people looking to sell their houses. Many thanks, Christina.
